Accountable Home Care Nurse Registry works with many long term care insurance policies. As a senior care leader in South Florida, we have a clear understanding of how long term care policies work. Long-term care insurance allows patients/clients to open a claim and receive in home care services through a caregiver referred by Accountable.
If you or a family member is in need of assistance with daily living, a caregiver referred by Accountable Home Care is your solution. Our non medical home care solutions are privately paid for by long term care insurance or out of pocket. Care can be provided in a patient's home or place of residence such as an assisted living facility, skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, group home or independent living retirement community.
At Accountable Home Care, we are committed to assisting the elderly maintain active and productive lives. Activities of Daily Living refers to the functions a person is able to perform normally on their own.
The ability to perform an Activity of Daily Living means the person is capable of performing that activity with or without the aide of an assistance device such as a rolling walker or a cane without the substantial assistance from another individual.Eating - Ability to feed oneself by getting food from receptacles such by using a plate, or a feeding tube.

Maintaining continuity of care is important for our clients. Commonly known as "split shifts", the morning shift is designed to assist a client with their morning routine. Often referred to as rise and shine service, a four hour minimum is required with each shift. It is rather challenging to staff a client's wish with a split shift, however, it is up to the licensed caregiver to determine if they will accept both morning and evening shift.
Caregivers we refer are qualified and trained Home Health Aides provide assistance ranging from medication reminders to assisting with personal care. CNAs and Home Health Aides referred by nurse registries may assist with self-administration of medication. Assisting with self-administered medications by reminding clients to take them at the prescribed time(s) and/or following up to ensure they are taken properly.
