Whereas "New American Cuisine" is a term for upscale, contemporary cooking that combines flavors from America's melting pot with traditional techniques, "New American West Cuisine" draws its roots from the concept of New American, but narrows its focus primarily to the ingredients, cultural influences and cooking techniques inherent to the Rocky Mountain West.

We are pleased to provide free valet parking for our guests. Please enter the Renaissance Denver Downtown hotel drive on Champa, just south of 17th St. The restaurant features a spacious bar, offering a wide selection of local beers, liquors and wines, a private dining room and a wood fire oven, in which much of the fare is prepared.

Service was definitely good, food was ok not great, I was expecting more for what I paid. The combination of the Salmon with lentils no good, the chicken mole i order it was just avarage nothing wow, the scallops plate that my wife order wasn't that good, I think my daughter was the only one who liked the food which was a bacon cheese burger! You can't go wrong with that.

Range is truly your home. The beautiful dining room is welcoming and comfortable. The staff heeded my reservation request for a quiet corner where my blind, autistic son would be comfortable. The waitstaff was beyond professional, organized, knowledgeable, and friendly. My husband, who is a quiet guy and perennially overlooked, was stoked that the waitress noticed him! We ordered the festive holiday gin and cranberry drink for everyone as this was our daughter’s 21st birthday feast. The drinks were beautiful and bright. For apps, shrimp and crab cocktail and duck confit poutine (next time, I’m

Excellent food plus above and beyond service made our dining experience amazing! We were unfortunately not an easy table and we had quite a few dietary needs. Range made us feel welcome and saw to all our needs without fail.

Literally the butt of the lettuce included. Asked for the salmon medium and it was completely raw. The salad was fine but nothing exciting. The pictures of the food looked really good so I was quite upset. Apparently this lunch chef doesn’t know what a medium salmon is. It was extremely uneven as well. The servers were very helpful and nice. That was the big positive.

My boyfriend and I were not at all impressed. He got the ribeye that was under cooked as well as heavy with gristle and fat. I had the chicken which was bland and dry. The candied bacon was the best part of the meal. To make matters worse we had to flag down out server for a pen to sign the check after waiting far too long for the check to begin with. We will definitely not be returning with the multitude of other options in downtown Denver.

Okay so this place is a hidden Gem, I think most people think that because they are a hotel restaurant that they will not be great, however, this is not the case. The food is AMAZING. Price is great, portions are perfect and each dish has its own unique flavor. Great wine selection and attentive staff with great recommendations, Gavin definitely did not disappoint us with his recommendations for food and venues.

The food, the service and atmosphere were fantastic! Every dish we had included something special. Something indescribable. One element that had us wondering what that strange, delicious flavor was. Gavin, our server took such good care of us (and my service dog) and the hostess made us feel so welcome. Great, friendly service can make or break a dining experience. We had only one night in Denver and we're so glad we chose Range!

The decor and setting and location definitely raised the rating. Great swanky nice modern decor with lots of space. Very clean. Staff was wonderful as well! We love fun new foods but a bit disappointed on the food here.

It was really just another restaurant piggybacking off of a hotel. The atmosphere was stale and the food was satisfactory. We thought we were going to someplace special but the sponsored advertisement on Facebook was misleading.

We got to try lots of menu items and they were really all very good. I LOVED the burrata, the hush puppies, and the Caesar salad. I thought the flat iron steak could've had more seasoning/flavor and I didn't care for the sauce that came with it. Our server was very nice, though the first girl who sat us down insisted we had to take a table with bar height seats because all the tables were reserved (even though we had a reservation too) and then the lower height table right next to us spent our entire dinner empty... that was quite frustrating. Due to that I reduced to 3 stars. It was

We came before a show and made a reservation in advance for a party of 6. It's a nicer restaurant and the decor is pleasant, but the service was slow and the food was underwhelming. The scallops I had were perfectly cooked, but the rice it came with was bland and undercooked. One person's chicken was overdone. When food and drinks came to the table, everyone who delivered food or drinks seemed confused about where they went and who ordered what, eventually having to "auction off" items at the table--and it happened for every item we ordered all night. We didn't see our

This place is perfect for a date night, especially if you're watching a show at the Denver performing arts center. My bf and I saw a musical before dinner and were still able to park our car at the hotel (the restaurant is on the first floor of the Renessaint Hotel). If you show your tickets parking is complimentary for 6 hours! In addition, they take 20% off the entire meal!! Awesome deal!!!!

We ordered a ribeye steak, salmon, and a bottle of Pinot Noir. Everything was super rich with flavor! The ribeye was huge~ came with potatoes and a small avocado salad. The salmon was baked and plated

For breakfast the food was a mix between pedestrian and tasty. The green chilli benedict was very tasty; the house potatoes uninspired. Servos was friendly... when it showed up. A decent eatery if staying at the hotel m

On my final night staying at the Renaissance in downtown Denver, I decided to dine at Range. Although the prices were very high, that was to be expected at a hotel restaurant. I arrived about a half hour before they were closing. I looked at the menu ahead of time so I would be able to order right away and not keep anyone. The host was kind and escorted me right to my seat without a reservation, but also reminded me that they were closing soon. The tables are pretty close to one another as it is a smaller restaurant. I had a quick burrata salad appetizer followed by the salmon. My usual order.

While visiting Denver for a quick trip before moving out here official in September, I was eager to try range. I had bookmarked the restaurant on Yelp weeks earlier and was excited to go. My friend and I made a 7 pm reservation on a Saturday night, and though it wasn't packed, we were happy we had made the reservation.

Our waiter Doug was wonderful - he described the menu items perfectly and wasn't overly attentive, yet always seemed to be around at the right time to fill up our drinks or clear dishes. We started with the Caesar salad and Brussels sprouts, both of which were wonderful

I'm in Denver every few months or so for work and have wanted to try to Range for awhile. Yesterday I finally got my chance. It is in the Renaissance Hotel which is happens to be an old bank. The interior of the hotel lobby is truly classy and grand and I love walking around gazing at the absolutely beautiful vaulted ceilings. When I finally wandered into the restaurant I was already in a good mood.

I sat in the bar area which is a pretty large portion of the restaurant. They had a great happy hour menu which includes a bunch of food items and several drinks. I had a glass of wine and
