It’s a family owned restaurant. The mom and the son are the ones who make all the food including the deserts. Everything is made fresh. I’m giving it 4 star since there aren’t many choices if you are vegetarian and the falafel I had was too dry but I’m sure that can be different. The flavor of the food felt just like home. In other words I highly recommend trying this place and make sure you leave space for a desert.

Lentil soup was awesome! My niece had the best gyro. It was moist and spiced up, not plain. My sisters shish kabob on rice however was very dry and plain. Love the hummus light and fluffy and I like the extra garlic one but others in the group didn’t. Lots of take outs going on, but not a lot of diners.

Went to a state capitol tour and this place was close, and recommended so we tried it. Attentive service and quick delivery of our orders. Unfortunately my wife's chicken gyro had a three inch piece of raw chicken in it. The server was incredibly apologetic and did not charge us for the dish. I had a Greek salad that was so-so. To replace the gyro we ordered the hummus plate that was very good.

This is my go-to Gyro place. I’ve been to the Mediterranean and feasted on gyros and I promise this is near the closest to the real thing you’ll find. More of a middle eastern style gyro than anything it’s absolutely delicious. Always get a starter of pita and hummus. You won’t regret it. The hummus is silky smooth and delicious. I travel across Denver for this one.

I live nearby and love Greek food, so I come here a lot. It's all good! The food, atmosphere, and service are all consistently fantastic. I came with a vegetarian friend once and he was very happy with the selection, as well! I've yet to see it busy, and haven't waited more than five minutes for my food, either.

Have been going to Shish Kabob for years now, it is my go-to Middle Eastern spot and I should have written a raving review years ago!
I love that they are family-owned. The staff and family members are always so incredibly kind, friendly, and appreciative of our business. Their food is absolutely delicious and so authentic, I simply can't go anywhere else. And the BEST and most unique item they have is their Hummus! I am serious, it is the BEST hummus you will ever have! I don't know how they do it, but it's so soft, almost a creamy-like texture, and so flavorful. When my brother

Id say the best thing here is their hummus and falafel, everything else is just okay. Their chicken shawarma platter is way overpriced for the cheap cuts of chicken they use and you can tell its not freshly made (frozen chicken bits heated up) The rice is really good though. I think there are far better places in town for gyros/shawarma. This place is just popular due to location/speed.

I miss having dinner at this restaurant. It's right across the capitol building. The food is great! Whatever you get, you'll enjoy. I picked up dinner on Friday - we got the Schwarma and Gyro pita sandwiches. They are covid safe - mask, gloves and limited space inside. No dining in. Ordering ahead and pick up is your best bet.

Best hummus I've ever tasted. Seriously. It is SO good. Perfect creamy texture that pairs SO perfectly with warm pita.
The service was great. Quick. No hassles. Friendly and helpful recommendations.
We started with hummus obviously and I was blown. I got the chicken skewers which came with rice and a garlic sauce. My boyfriend for the gyro plate with rice.
The rice was perfectly cooked. Soft and fluffy and seasoned very well. The meat was also cooked well paired perfectly with the rice.
This place does the simple yet flavorful thing right with no frills. Super low key on the inside and outside

My friend had leftovers and I ate them for him so he suggested we go to the restaurant itself for lunch. Got there in the nick of time because they started getting busy. A line for takeout and all the tables full. It's a family owned business and the service is friendly. They recognize regulars and greet them - they knew my friend and welcomed him. We had the shish kabob plate with chicken. Comes with a salad and we had baklava for dessert. The chicken was well seasoned and smooth. The baklava was warmed up for us and flaky and not too sweet. Will be back. Everyone should go! Support the
