Services
Since starting my practice, I have had some wonderful experiences practicing law in North Carolina, such as getting to practice in many different courthouses, traveling to other states, working for some awesome clients, working with some great lawyers, and making some amazing friends. I grew up in Somerset, Kentucky.
A lifelong resident of Cabarrus County, Kay graduated from Concord High School, then from Wingate College with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and later on from Central Piedmont Community College in Paralegal Studies, becoming a certified paralegal in 2013.
However, Kay has been involved with the practice of law almost all of her life, as her dad, Attorney James C. Johnson, Jr., practiced in Cabarrus County for almost 50 years and she worked in his law offices at a young age assisting with criminal to family law cases.Kay genuinely enjoys helping people.

The universe is funny how it works things out. Buddy had a family before arriving at our home, like a couple of our other dogs too. Buddy's parents separated when he was around six months old and couldn't keep him any longer. Lot's of clients face having to make hard decisions about pets and that is not lost on me, but I do believe that good things can happen with faith and hope for everyone.

I put this lawyer on retainer at the suggestion of my lawyer based out of Charlotte. She would help with matters in the event my case went to court in Concord. I was able to settle with the other party and never needed her services. However, she is unwilling to reimburse me the money she was paid even though she spent zero time on my case. This is bad business!!
