We are a small private music studio offering piano, violin, voice, guitar, drums, and music theory lessons, composition and improvisation lessons, as well as private and semi-private music classes for toddlers. We also offer recording services in Arlington Center. In addition to traditional modalities and classical repertoire, we offer specialty jazz piano lessons, jazz violin lessons, and jazz voice lessons.

Services
At Mindful Music Studio we offer private lessons in violin, voice, piano, guitar, drums, as well as music theory, composition, improvisation for any instrument, and fundamental music classes for toddlers. We facilitate the development of a solid foundation and healthy habits, to allow you to take your musical interest in the direction of your preferred genre and style.
At Mindful Music Studio we offer private piano lessons for all ages. If you don't have an instrument at home yet, we are happy to assist you in finding one. We recommend that students acquire an acoustic piano in good condition, however if you own a good quality full size electric keyboard with weighted keys, that's not a bad place to start!
The violin teachers At Mindful Music Studio offer violin instruction for all ages. Typically our students start at age 4 and up, however, if a 3 year old displays curiosity and musical tendencies, we like to schedule a trial lesson and determine whether lessons are the right choice at that time. Our violin instruction is tailored to the needs of each student, depending on their age, skill level, learning style, and musical goals.
At Mindful Music Studio we offer private vocal / singing lessons for ages 7 and up. Voice training instructor is tailored to each student based on their age, skill level, current health of the instrument, genre choice, and musical goals. The voice is probably one of the most complicated instruments because it is not visible to the teacher and there are no keys to press!
At Mindful Music Studio we offer private guitar, bass, and ukulele lessons for all ages. Our instruction is tailored to the needs of each student, depending on their age, skill level, learning style, and musical goals. Beginner students can expect to learn proper technique and posture, as well as open chords, scales, and any desired repertoire adjusted to one's level.

My daughter started violin with Ariadna at the age 7 and I could not be happier. I cannot over-emphasize how important it is to get the foundations right when learning any instrument and Ariadna did just that with my daughter. The synergy between the teacher and student was amazing and the thoughtful feedback she gave can only come from someone who cares about her student.

I highly recommend Mindful Music Studio!!! My 12-years-old son takes piano lessons with David and my 9-years-old son takes violin lessons with Ariadna. The music material is systematic, and they are very experienced and skilled in teaching young kids. They are very friendly, enthusiastic, patient but firm with kids. They are very good at assessing a student’s abilities and interests and adjusting their lessons accordingly. It makes the lessons fun and kids WANT to learn. Ariadna is the best music teacher I have ever had! She really thinks about what you need and she manages to make each lesson so much fun while still challenging and encouraging you. I always come out of each lesson so happy and inspired! In just 1 year of lessons with her I have learned and improved so much more than I ever expected. Our daughter started her violin lessons with Ariadna in January 2020 (3 months before turning 8 years old) and it's been a wonderful experience. Ariadna's approach to teaching is fantastic, and it was immediately apparent at how much she truly cares about music and helping others learn how to play and embrace music. She adapted quickly to my daughter's learning style, and has been patient while also knowing exactly how much to push so that my daughter progresses, has fun, and doesn't get overwhelmed and start to think that learning music is more work than reward.

David is a fantastic piano teacher, and I highly recommend him to anyone considering taking lessons. I’ve been taking weekly lessons with him for a little over one year, and have been learning a ton and enjoying it a lot. Here are a few reasons why:

My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Ariadna for 4 years and has enjoyed every lesson. Both Ariadna and David have such talent and have incorporated that into their love for teaching. My now 14 year old daughter has impressed me over these few years with what she's learned and how quick she's learn it. I cant say enough about how caring and involved they are with their students. Until recently, my son took lessons from David for for 2 years and from Ariadna for 1 year when they were in Bridgeport CT. Even prior to working with them, my son, now 24, was playing professional gigs in the New Haven and Fairfield County areas as a jazz pianist. Although he has worked with many teachers in his life, he felt that David was the most effective teacher he ever had. David (and Ariadna) took his playing to a new level. My 2 boys(10 and 11) have been learning violin from Ariadna for 3 years. She has very strong classical music background, and is a wonderful jazz singer and violin player. My boys have lots of fun learning from her. Ariadna is strict, but very patient. She takes time and finds different ways of teaching basic techniques, which I think is more important in the beginning. She also talks to me after class on how the boys are doing, discusses how they should be practicing at home on their own. Ariadna is a very responsible and loving teacher, we all love her.

I began taking piano lessons with David in my mid-40s, as an activity shared with my then 5-year old son. As piano novices, my son and I developed a real enthusiasm for the instrument -- and David -- over 4-plus years. David has the rare gift of teaching young and oldish students with individually tailored and innovative techniques. And he doesn't go through the motions; he really cares. I recommend him highly.
