Ocean State Dermatology was founded by Dana Hall, MD in 2013 with a mission to be a dermatology practice that provides exceptional care in a relaxed, hassle-free and professional setting. We don't want your visit to the skin doctor to be something you dread, but rather something you truly look forward to doing for yourself.

I've been going to Dr Hall for years, I even followed her to her new practice when she moved. She's always been very responsive to any of my concerns. My family has a strong history of skin cancer and she is very good about checking out anything that's at all iffy. Even when I moved to MAi priority coming here

I have been going to this dermatology business for over a year now, back in October I had an appointment at 5:30pm. I live 45 mins away, and I called and spoke to a receptionist saying that I may be late ( I'm always early to everything and late being maybe 3 mins). When I got there at maybe 5:35 the latest- there was no one at the desk. The receptionist came out about 9/10 mins later and said that they would not be able to take me in because I was 15 minuets late. Mind you they are open until 7pm on that day. First visit with Dr Hall. I picked her because of location but liked her so much if I ever need a dermatologist again I'll be sure to call her. She was cheerful and friendly and knew what was going on with me immediately. Her staff is friendly and so nice as well. I'm giving her 5 stars because she certainly deserves them !

Dr. Hall and her staff were wonderful. I went for my first skin check at a dermatologist ever and later a biopsy and they were very professional and made sure I was comfortable. I didn’t wait around either (which is normal to expect in a medical setting) so that was a plus! I will be going to Ocean State Dermatology from now on.

Completely unprofessional practice. Walked in and stood there while 2 employees ignored us. Assistant that met with us before Dr was very sloppy and asked the most inane questions. And as a skin cancer survivor, who has spent many hours in a dermatologist office, her questions were mundane and irrelevant. When the Dr came in, she took a 3 second look at my mother, said "you have this ___, the script your other Dr gave you won't help". We tried to get some answers, "how did this happen, what could we do?" She brushed off my questions and was VERY patronizing to my elderly mother. When we asked for

The doctor could barely be bothered to talk to me. Misdiagnosed my condition to be fungal (even I knew it wasn't), mainly because she barely looked, prescribed a useless ointment, and walked out of the room. No talk of follow up, no directions, no plans....nothing. I walked out of there, said nothing to the reception staff, they said nothing to me. I haven't been back and no one has called. Done.

I've been coming to see Dana for more than a year, since my PCP referred me to have a skin growth more closely examined. She biopsied it; it was cancerous. Dana is always professional and thorough, yet takes enough time to address any concerns you have and answer any questions. I now see her annually for a skin check and have been completely satisfied.
