I hate writing reviews for places I haven't tried yet, but this is just honestly probably in my top three pet-peeves.
If you've changed hours, whatever the reason, you NEED to update your Google hours and your website. There's just no real excuse unless I literally happened to be the 1st person seeing this and the decision was literally just made today at 4:59pm. I based my dinner plans around a 5pm opening, per their website/Google hours. An additional 30 minutes throws a pretty bad wrench into that. I can submit an update to their hours on my side pretty easily, I'd guess it's even easier for

The first time i came here to pick up an order they were unorganized, couldn't find a pen (luckily i had one), and one of the owners/workers said to their coworker "prioritize the customers that are dining in, they are more important." ignored the comments and unorganization.
got the bahn mi with chicken and it was okay, nothing special.
the one time i was coming here to dine in, i learnt that you have to pay to park in their own parking lot which is stupid so i left. it was not a busy time and i wasn't going to pay valet to park my own car in a lot adjacent to the restaurant.
since then i've

I had pulled up on a Tuesday before 2. THEY ARE CLOSED. I'm pregnant and really looking forward to their signature MSG-FREE Pho (that's what the owner told me the first time I came to this place and so naturally I wanted to come back. Hours say opens at 530pm to 2am on the door. Google hours wrong for lunch or they closed early that day. Waste of a drive and disappointing. I'm hungry for MSG-FREE PHO. Ugh......update your hours please! Ps. AS FSR AS I REMEMBER THE PHO IS A+

I ordered their Beef pho online and was extremely disappointed with the portion. This soup was over $12 and came in a small bowl. The small bowl was barely half full. I’ve ordered pho plenty of times and never have I ever received such a skimpy portion. The broth was good which is why I gave 2 stars but there are many restaurants that offer far tastier and plentiful pho options at a much better price.

The food tasted good. I ordered the same veggie pho with tofu a few times.
1st time tofu , sauce and bean sprouts were missed. 2nd time tofu and sauce were missed. Finally I thought they got it right the third time (was free) which was after I brought it to their notice but lo and behold! there is a chicken piece in my veggie pho this time..! The chef deserves to be congratulated for the talent.

Parking is great, service is great, hence two stars and not 0.
Food was so bland and mediocre for the price range. We got Viet egg rolls, Lemongrass tofu, and Pad Thai. The eggrolls were 7/10, I'll give them props for using the spring roll paper which is what you'd expect for an authentic vietnamese style eggrolls. Lemongrass tofu barely had any lemongrass, I couldn't see nor taste the fragrance that lemongrass dishes have. On top of that, my plate was filled with onions and other obscure veggies, barely any tofu, and I'm a petite asian girl that usually cannot finish her food

Cozy sized, chic modern decor. Parking in the back behind the restaurant. They weren't too busy and service was great and prompt. We sat in the booths against the wall and it was very private feeling which I like, the booths are separated all the way up to the ceiling. I've had the tofu Pad Thai from here from UberEATS and it was delicious. Me and my mom shared veggie potstickers and General TSO Tofu. By FAR the BEST general tso tofu I've EVER had in Houston. And trust me I've tried a lot. And the brown rice was sticky and sweet but delicious! It's hard to see the potstickers under all the delicious

A small restaurant with a really nicely designed sign on the exterior, Melange serves up Americanized Vietnamese food up into the wee hours of the night. The food is tasty and the service was really friendly, but it's not worth the price tag in my opinion.
With the crab fried rice priced at $20, I was hoping it looked like something in the previous Yelp photos topped with lots of crab claws. The fried rice was a standard fried rice you find at other Americanized Chinese food shops that could go for $5 (still yummy), and the crab was scant and cold as well. Can't say no to carbs

Meh food, Me'lange positions itself as a fusion restaurant but lacks the depth and breadth of a cuisine - falling short of many other Viet restaurants in the city. I went for the Melange Traditional Soup (Hue Meat Lover Soup / Bun Bo Hue) and found it to lack the seasoning and flavor that you would expect or want out of a soup.
The restaurant is also painfully slow, I waited ~1.5 hours for the order and it was simpl not worth the wait

Stopped at this place from our 4 mile walk lol and wanted something not so heavy and somewhat healthy haha but as you can see we were hungry. The young man who took our order was very nice and attentive. Our appetizers came out quick but our food did take longer to come out. The food was delicious though, had a lot of flavors and tasted fresh. Portions were gracious and nice. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

We ordered Uber Eats from Me'lange over the weekend because it was near freezing temperatures in Houston and some of us were craving a warm bowl of soup. Based on their menu and website, they are ostensibly a Vietnamese restaurant that also dabbles in pan-Asian cuisine, with Thai, Chinese, and Japanese options as well.
With my order of Japanese Udon Soup, I did in fact receive a warm bowl of soup like I wanted. It just wasn't very flavorful or exciting. The noodles were bland, the sliced chicken was virtually unseasoned and overcooked to the point of chewiness, the three shrimp were

Okay food, great service. Been here a handful of times since the soft opening. The food here is okay, nothing to brag about really.
Clay Pot: 2/5
I ordered the clay pot with fish and it's not like your typical clay pot. Personally, I feel like the clay pot here lacks flavor and could use some improvement. The soup base was way too watery (usually it's thicker) for my liking and the fish they use wasn't that good to me. Boneless fish was good so I didn't have to worry about bones, but it'd probably taste better if they use Catfish or something like other places. Smell
