Top notch from beginning to end. Nice old style feel, where you know the people next to you in suits probably make $1 million+ a year, yet inexplicably the loud- mtalking foul-mouthed man beside you and his girlfriend with a stocking cap on still somehow felt comfortable here (I was very grateful when they left so I could actually hear my friend talking).
The service was impeccable. There was never a moment when I had an empty glass or a missing piece of silverware. They start out with a gigantic tray of bread options, all of which looked delicious. On the table is an entire roasted garlic atop

Sorrento was the perfect restaurant to enjoy a lovely romantic dinner. Guests are able to bask in the dim lighting, beautiful ambiance, and impeccable service all while being serenaded by a talented pianist playing classic love songs. Fabian recommended the most delicious wine, appetizers, and entrees and was the best server. It was truly an experience to remember.

I absolutely love Sorrento! I have been for both lunch and dinner and it is always such a treat. The food is amazing. I am a big fan of the Torchetti Pasta with sausage and vodka sauce. I've also highly recommend the sea bass and the filet mignon. The ambiance is classy, yet comfortable. The staff is fun but sophisticated, and the experience is always the perfect mix of elegance and entertainment. I love the fine details, too, especially with the live pianist playing Christmas music during my most recent visit. Highly recommend!

We went to Sorrento for a much needed girls night out, and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was so kind and courteous, and treated us with top-notch service. The food was delicious; I highly recommend the filet mignon (extra peppercorn sauce on the side), and the Torchetti Pasta was also really, really good. The small details, like the beautiful fresh tulips and hammered silverware really set everything off. I also like the intimacy of the room we were seated in. It was such a treat, and I will definitely be returning.

The food was fresh and very well presented.
Overall I really liked the vibe. If you're looking for a romantic date restaurant this fits the bill.
Many restaurants claim romantic but to me don't have that feel. This one is just fancy enough to not stand out if you want to wear a sport coat and slacks but also just a polo and jeans could work. Live piano music was a nice touch.
Fantastic bread basket with a large assortment of breads gets brought around often. The wine list had plenty to choose from.
It's not as expensive as some of its higher end competition but I think our bill (2 people )

We were looking for a place to have a late dinner and decided to give Sorrento's a try. The place has a comfortable ambience. With live piano music playing we were seated at a nice corner table. Our serve Jorge is pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive in all the right ways. We got second helping of the delicious roasted garlic spread. The escargot and dessert were mediocre but the Veal Osso Buco and Scallops with lemon risotto were delicious! We will be back! Great neighborhood find.

Went for a special night out with my fiancee and her brother. Ambiance is great (dim, cozy), but is definitely a more romantic vibe, and might have been better as just a 'date night' spot - lol.
The food was delicious - the calamari appetizer was well done, and a large portion at that. The three of us had high hopes for the infamous bread basket that gets passed around...disappointment. While the roasted garlic/olive oil was super tasty, the bread itself was a let down. Perhaps my expectations were too high thinking it would be hot/fresh? Didn't taste stale by any means, but I

We had a group of 6 to celebrate my wife's birthday at Sorrento's. The waitstaff was excellent and our meals were delicious. Additionally, Sorrento's has a piano player who provides relaxing music for our enjoyment during dinner.
There can be no better place to enjoy a great meal with excellent service than Sorrento's.

My experience wasn't the most favorable but mostly because we were seated in this really hot windowed area that felt like a greenhouse. It's not appetizing to eat while you sweat so my opinion is a little skewed. Our server was very attentive at first and our drinks and courses came out quickly. We came here just for the cheese wheel risotto, it was good but I'm not sure any of the cheese wheel actually made it in there, might be more for show as they so softly turned the risotto around on it. I was disappointed to see they left a lot of the risotto on the wheel when they plated our portion rather

This might be our go to Italian place after Antica closed in the village. The ambiance is amazing with everything from an amazing piano player to a cozy decor and posh interior. The service is top notch - Our waitress was super attentive and brought everything just as we ordered it. The food was just ok, but maybe this is also because we are very picky with Italian fare.

We were seven people at dinner tonight: Our server did give us good service however we were charged for ravioli and salad for all seven of us that we did not order. Of course they bought it to the table stating the chef has prepared this for us and we ate it. We thought it was complimentary. When the bill came each ravioli was $12.00 for two pieces and $7.00 for each salad which we did not order. They also charged us for still water $14.00. Since we were celebrating a birthday the server told me to pick a dessert and charged us $12.00 for that. They also charged us $100.00 for tip in this bill

Wow. This place is very nice. Everything was absolutely delectable. The cherry butter was an unexpected delight. The selection of bread for the roasted garlic and olive oil thing was vast. Pasta was nicely al dente. The service was beyond reproach. So very polite and humble. All in all, one of the best meals we've ever had.

What a perfect way to dine on my day off this past Monday. It wasn't my first time at Sorrento's, BUT it was my first time experiencing the true fine dining. I used to come for family birthday's and only eat the Grilled Chicken Alfredo (which is delicious), but let me tell you I was missing out.
My man took me on a date night and we had the such a great time. There was live piano to set the mood, we had a bottle of wine and started with the Tuscan Bean with Oxtail and Beef Broth. The oxtail was soft and the broth was similar to a white bean minestrone, but more delicate in flavor

This place was amazing. Went for my birthday and it did not disappoint. Beautiful atmosphere, piano player. Food was amazing! Loved it. Went on my birthday so I felt extra special. My boys got the piano player to play happy birthday for me. They sang to me and brought me a tiramisu. Ordered the mushroom risotto carved table side and mushroom ravioli. Everything was so delicious. We all loved our food so much and can't wait to go back. Service was amazing as well

My friends took me here to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere was very romantic with a pianist playing and dark lightening. I felt like I was going to be proposed too;) The service was amazing and everyone was so attentive. The food was good I had the mushroom ravioli and arugula goat salad. But the real stand out is the service and ambiance. The staff all came over and the pianist played happy birthday while they sang. They made you feel very special!

The service was excellent and the food was so good and FRESH. Quality. The vibe is very nice and great for dates or small groups. Good wine selection as well. I had all the intentions to order the seafood pasta which comes highly recommended but we all ended up ordering the short rib (special of the night). Fall off the bone tender! I am skeptical about ordering short rib at restaurants so I don't make this claim lightly. As an app we ordered calamari that was perfectly fried. I wasn't a fan of the dipping sauces but the calamari was still good without it! Dessert consisted of creme brulee

Had the most absolutely BEST dinner for my husband's birthday! We were seated privately and enjoyed the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Excellent all around! Our server was gracious and knowledgeable, so kind and sweet! I cannot remember his name, I'm ashamed to admit! But I'd sure recognize him as soon as I come again! Prices are very reasonable and this place has been here for so long, get over here and support local establishments, especially during these trying times!

Came here for Houston Restaurant Weeks, and we were not disappointed! The service was top notch and the food was delicious. Old school Italian vibe - dim lighting, wood furniture and white tablecloths. Hubby and I loved it! Oh and the best part was the huge bread basket they bring around to each table where you can pick and choose the type of bead you want to enjoy with the olive oil dip they have at the table.
