HEALTH HAZARD. Wow, we are absolutely appalled. My boyfriend and I visited Rosalie on 01/29 and had dinner. We didn't realize almost the entire chicken parm is RAW. We are contacting the Harris County Health Department first thing tomorrow morning. We were only able to have a few bites at the restaurant, due to how large it was, but when we brought it back home, we realized just how much of the chicken parm is completely raw. We immediately contacted the manager, Luis, who immediately shut us down. He said it is because the of the brine. Does this look like brine to you? It is RAW. We are

Rosalie is located inside C Baldwin hotel so It's best to just valet since they'll give you a parking validation before your dinner is over. It was my first time so it was really cute inside for a date. The corner table was intimate, just a bit loud when more ppl dined considering it was quite full.
Broccoli rabe - 1/5 - the server informed us it was broccolini which I love but it honestly didn't even look like broccolini lol tried one bite & decided it was not for me.
Aracini - 5/5 - my fave thing we ordered. Gooey, crispy risotto balls with pesto sauce was sooo good !

Today there are 25 mph winds and a wind chill of 40 degrees! What to do while Robby does a tour?? I’m sitting at the bar at the Rosalie inside the C. Baldwin Hotel on Lamar and enjoying their soon to be famous Irish Coffee! They use a special coffee blend with a house-made whipped cream that highlight the yummy alcohol they include! Warming my heart and soul! I highly recommend the bar and this drink on a date night or Stay-cation!

Really great Italian gem located in the heart of Downtown Houston. Recommend sharing the fried risotto app with Grandma’s meatballs. Also recommend sharing a pizza - we did three ways! Cocktails were delicious too and so was the ambiance. My only complaint was they were almost 30 minutes late to seat us even with a reservation

Alrighty, let's get to the review! We had the Margherita pizza, which was definitely filling and literally chefs kiss. The second favorite has to go to the FRIES (tasted like it was melted in truffle oil), and the burger was absolutely delicious (ALSO tasted like it was COOKED in truffle oil ). I would say among both of the rigatoni's - the red sauce was a bit better than the basil pasta in my opinion.
For drinks, I recommend getting the Hugo spritz was an absolute fav if you love cucumber

A wonderful place for a dinner date or business lunch (I've done both). It is obvious that they make everything fresh and in house. The pizza is amazing and their pasta is always al dente the way pasta should be. I also like how you can see the pizza oven and chef work in real time.
I would classify the interior as upscale modern with a relaxing vibe. It's is a part of the beautiful C. Baldwin hotel so you will not be disappointed. It never hurts to swing by the bar too for a night cap. I will definitely be returning here for years to come.

I've been taking my clients to Rosalie since it opened back up and it's always a home run! The environment is charming, the food is consistent and delicious, staff is attentive and friendly, not too loud... I always feel confident hosting my meetings here for lunch.
I've been for dinner a few times with my husband and it served well as a date night too. I recommend the Rigatoni Pasta and all of their pizzas!

I was excited to try this place out whenever it just opened(pre Covid) around end of year 2019. The food we got was just not up to par with the restaurant's location and the chef's reputation. I don't know why the place is also super dark and gloomy. I am finally reviewing this place because I read that they just opened up with a fresh menu and makeover. Ill try this place again to see if they've gotten any better and update my review if need be!

Solid spot to grab dinner in the C Baldwin Hotel. Cocktails were tasty and affordably priced. Decor was unique , and vibe was laid back but classy. Food items we ordered were all hits. Arancini was a bit on the salty side but still delicious. Pizza is probably good for two people especially if you ordered an app.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile as I came across it on Instagram! Rosalie did not disappoint!!! It's located inside of the beautiful C. Baldwin hotel downtown which is beautiful decorated. Once you step into the restaurant you can feel the chic, elegant yet comfortable vibe it gives off. All of the cocktails were inspired by women and I tried the dalai mama which had vodka in It, purple colored & sweet. We started with the Arancini (cheese filled balls w pesto sauce) as an appetizer which were tasty. For dinner we grabbed the meat lover pizza and also the rigatoni pasta

I am extremely happy to say that this place was one place I would easily recommend to everyone! I took my fiancé for her birthday, along with her sister and husband last night for our first time to Rosalie! I will begin to say that from the start, you have to walk into glorious C Baldwin Hotel to get to this fabulous restaurant! The interior is beautiful. The staff are a bit on the snobby side. I felt looked down upon. The meatballs are good. The reason for the two-star review is that the pasta simply isn't good. I ordered the ravioli - I got the more expensive, full plate instead of the lunch special after looking through the pics on Yelp that showed full plates. However, what I got was 6 very flat pieces of pasta. Ravioli should be stuffed. I should have taken a photo. It was flat and when cut into each piece with my fork, there was only a very tiny layer of ricotta like someone smeared it with knife. Could

A very nice place to eat inside the Baldwin Hotel. Food was excellent, I had the Margherita Pizza and the Caesar Salad. The hostess was very friendly and answered questions about the menu , but I had bad service when I sat down at the bar. I Let the manager know and he was responsive and eager to make it better. That is important as great service is important and the manager cared enough to make it right. Try this place and see for yourself.

My foodie family (ie we eat at a lot of restaurants and are very critical of food) was very impressed by our experience at Rosalie! Showed up on a Sunday evening with no reservation and were told there were no tables so we sat in the bar area which was lovely (we did see open tables in the restaurant so that was confusing). Ordered the arancini, the whole chicken parm, the mushroom pizza, the broccoli rabe, and the cauliflower. All were extremely delicious. We celebrated our birthdays here a few days ago, and the atmosphere was absolutely adorable for a perfect girls' night! From the minute we walked in, the staff was so friendly and accommodating from showing us our table, serving our drinks/food, and recommendations at the end of the night! We ordered the rigatoni, and the basil pasta, potatoes, Caesar salad, and the chocolate dessert with whipped cream. That was my absolute favorite! So fluffy and delicious. Gonna have to give 3/5 here. Food and service didn't match the immaculate vibes on this place. Came for brunch and saw plenty of girl groups getting their insta pic fix, this place is great for that, decor is spot on very great. However, service was lacking, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't good. Our server forgot my coffee when served and forgot to bring a baby chair that was requested a couple of times. My husband and I heard about Rosalie from Ruben Dominguez/Fox News and were very excited to hear they have Arancini - which we haven't had since moving here from Los Angeles 2 1/2 years ago. Well they did not disappoint!!! We will definitely be back for those and more. In addition to the Arancini I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich and my husband had the Blue Crab Manicotti - both amazing. This beautiful space is located in the C Baldwin Hotel. It's thoughtful design and approachable menu make it perfect for a girls night or date. The space is small and well curated with interesting books and items.
The starters were all amazing. Perfectly cooked. The calamari was crusted with cornmeal and sweet and spicy with peppers.
I adore pizza and the meat lovers here did not disappoint. The dough was crunchy on the bottom and chewy and soft inside. I was extremely impressed. The pepperoni had crisp edges and there was a whole piece of mortadella on each slice!

So happy to see Chef Cosentino back in business at Rosalie! They are gearing up since closing due to covid and the food is as good if not better than before. The menu is uncomplicated with food inspired by his great grandmother's cooking - and the comfort factor shines through.

Ordered margarita pizza, mushroom pizza came and it was not tasty
Ordered blue crab manicotti, the plate was hot but food was cold. We told our waiter, the took the dish back and reheat. The food still came out warm... We were speechless!
