This California-style beach bungalow was originally designed as a five bedroom home on two levels. Years ago, the beach level was remodeled and converted into "The Beach Retreat" and now both levels -- upper and lower -- of this spectacular home are available for rent.
The Beach Retreat Upper Level offers visitors breathtaking ocean views from a Master Bedroom with walk-out patio, ocean-view Living Room, extensive walk out patio from the kitchen, also with an oceanview, a second bedroom and sitting room, while the Lower Level offers our guests the pleasure of two bedrooms and one bath in a single level home that has been turn key furnished with a variety of interesting and eclectic furnishings.

A skylight above brings natural light to this space from dawn to dusk while fascinating books along the wall await you. Breathtaking views of the ocean greet you daily including a walk-out patio along the Upper Level living room, comfortable furnishings and artwork from around the world.
Enjoy the ocean view of Moonlight Beach from the comfortable and cozy living room and dining area. Step outside to the ocean view patio, BBQ and casual furniture. Enjoy the comfort of a King-size bed in this cozy romantic getaway! There is an eclectic array of furnishings including a dresser, secretary desk, bookshelf, breakfast tray and spacious closet.
Moonlight Beach is one of our favorite places and your retreat was a great place to refresh ourselves and enjoy the beach town of Encinitas. Taking long walks along Moonlight Beach and boogeyboarding with our children was the highlight of our summer vacation! We will recommend the Beach Retreat to all our friends!

OMG! I have to disclaim that I'm with the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce - and today we had a Ribbon Cutting Event for Beach Retreat. I think everyone who lives in Encinitas - or visits on occasion has seen this house - I can't tell you what an amazing rental (rentals) this place is!
Owner Donna Miano hosted the Chamber, our Ambassadors and Government Dignitaries and gave us all a tour after our ribbon cutting.
