Services
Conveniently located in Mount Laurel New Jersey, adjacent to Cherry Hill, Laurel Brook offers the best in subacute rehabilitative and skilled nursing care with a primary goal of returning patients home as soon as possible. Today, under new ownership, we are excited to infuse our 220-bed nursing home community with Marquis' progressive rehab approach.
Laurel Brook strives to provide a superior experience and exceptional outcomes for patients, residents and families through progressive, innovative care, advanced technology and investment in service excellence. Highly motivated staff work to inspire our residents to live life to the fullest, offering an active, exciting and warm environment.
Dr. Blank specializes in osteopathic medicine and is affiliated with Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County and Virtua Memorial Hospital - Burlington County. He is the president of Sunset Road Medical Associates in Burlington and also serves as the medical director/team physician at Compassas Hospice.
I would definitely suggest Laurel Brook to anyone who needs a Rehabilitation Center! After my accident/hospital stay/surgeries, I was told that I had to go to a sub-acute rehabilitation center. To be honest with you I was petrified to hear that. I know that meant I would be away from my family/children.
Our physician-led program under the direction of Dr. Michael Horwitz is focused on helping patients achieve the most active life possible despite any cardiopulmonary diagnoses and physical limitations. OUR GOAL is to provide the medical expertise and personal support to help residents get well, be well and stay well.

We love Laurel Brook! With our mother currently 'residing' at Laurel Brook and has been for well over a year, she is doing well and what's even better is that she is happy! We are grateful for the care our mother is getting and for the kind staff (from the management to the CNAs).

I visited my step dad there earlier this week. Everyone was helpful and friendly. They are definitely doing a good job with covid safety steps. My step dad is happy with his progress there and hopefully going home soon.

I don’t really have too much of a positive note…I appreciate that the facility is close to my home but I will say as I am told that all facilities do…
There is often a very strong odor when I come to visit.
I have to bring food often for my mom.
I do her laundry for the lack of attention that is paid to residents clothing.
The room is too small for 2 people to be in the same room without adequate storage for belongings (no dresser) just a beside stand and half a closet.
It would be nice if residents could have a small refrigerator(in room) and a microwave in the hallway to heat up their

My stepdad spent 5 weeks there for rehab. He was able to come home after recovering from COVID. He had good therapy and care overall. If we had issues they were corrected by the staff. My family would call the hot line number and we always got a response back.

I was able to connect with more staff members about my dad‘s care in the first day than I was in the hospital over two weeks. The staff is friendly and helpful and the facility is very clean. Medical specialists regularly visit their patients in this facility which is not the case in many places. I believe that Dad will be able to get stronger and return to his home after being cared for here.

The journey for my ex-husbands recovery has been monumental. He actually died as he had a major hear attack.15 minutes passed from him getting oxygen to his BRAIN. Virtua Hosp. EMT's did everything in their capacity to save him, revive him. He was not expected to live. Tubes in him for oxygen & in a coma. A true miracle as he made progress. A decision of choosing four rehab now had to be made. As I listened to the Social Worker of the places to choose from I looked at the choices. I choose Laurel Brook Rehab. From the very BEGINNING I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE PLACE. From meeting Mr. Shalom/ Mr. Rafael

Don’t. My pop was in care one and it was amazing. Kind, caring staff. NOT THIS PLACE. Ignorant, rude staff who keeps patients away from their family. Please please do not take your family here. I think his name is mr. moussa, a head guy, rudest person I ever met. Is withholding the phone from a patient off a bribe given. Please don’t leave your family with such negligent people.

I am power of attorney for a lady with MS who spent a couple of weeks at Laurel Brook. She had a good stay there, but she had to go to the hospital for a brief stay; after discharge from the hospital, she was placed in a different skilled nursing care facility. While at the new facility, she went to the hospital for x-rays; upon discharge from the hospital, she was wrongly taken to Laurel Brook. Jack Bresler, the Business Office Manager, remembered me from when my friend had been there previously, and notified me that she had been re-admitted. Without his attentiveness and a sixth sense, I would
