WhiteSands Treatment Center was founded in 2014 with the overarching philosophy that it was time to raise industry standards with respect to the quality of treatment, comfortability of patients, and increased rates of long-term sobriety. We recognized that national relapse rates were abysmal and treatment protocols have remained stagnant for many years.
Our founders, CEO Garry Jonas and COO Joseph Ducey had a vision to create a treatment program that stood well above its competitors and that treated patients as individuals while also providing many of the comforts of their home environments. WhiteSands hired accomplished Clinical Director, Dr. Lyndsay Henry, as the centerpiece for a strong clinical team.

If you are serious about recovering and want to become recovered then go to WhiteSands. The entire staff (doctors, nurses, clinical, behavioral health technicians, admission and discharge, food and beverage, and housekeeping) are loving, caring, and helpful! WhiteSands made me feel like being at home as much as possible. This place is AWESOME!!!

Whitesands, was amazing the techs go above & beyond for you! The classes & therapy helped me so much in my recovery. The facility was beautiful. Also the Whitesands recovery homes are phenomenal! Nice apartments with great case managers & the iop really is helping my progress in my recovery. Would recommend to anyone who needs it!

When I first came to white sands I came straight from the hospital where I spent six days at. I looked like this, along with a broken foot that was non weight baring. Every single person that worked at WhiteSands was nothing but caring and helpful to help me with my recovery. Today I am 28 days clean, happy to be alive and loving my life. I owe that to every employee of whitesands, they helped me find myself and dig deep to love myself and have joy in my life again. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

Absolutely the best rehab facility I’ve ever been to. Moved all the way here from Baltimore to go to white sands because they truly are the only rehab I’ve been where the staff sincerely wants to help the clients. They go above and beyond even to the point where I came in with not a lot to my name and they gave me a hairbrush and were always checking on me, I feel like I’ve learned coping skills to stay sober thanks to WS.

My experience at White Sands was excellent, and in so many great ways, was not what I had expected. White Sands is a wonderful facility. The staff is absolutely amazing and supportive. From the time you arrive you will be met with compassion, empathy and the desire to keep you safe and healthy while you learn skills to improve your life and beat addiction. I have been to White Sands and there is only one place I would ever recommend someone turn to for help overcoming addiction and underlying issues.

I really did not know what to expect on my arrival to White Sands. First it was my decision to get help and change my life. Even for those of us that were forced or just did not want to be there you are welcomed by staff members that understand right where you are in your addiction. They have all been there and are in recovery with everyone else. It is a safe and serene environment

I recently completed the 30 day program at White Sands treatment facility in Fort Myers, FL. It was truly and amazing experience. The staff was excellent and made everyone feel welcome. I developed skills I plan on utilizing on a daily basis through out the course of my life. The food and the living areas were beyond expectation and I would recommend this place to anyone. WhiteSands is amazing! The entire staff was top notch in their education, guidance and support. The counselors, teachers , BH Technicians, medical staff and other support folks went far above and beyond in their roles. Personally, I was able to learn details about my disease and most importantly the tools to achieve and sustain sobriety. I am immensely grateful and highly recommend WhiteSands as a premier treatment program and residential facility.

At the lowest point of my life when I had no where else to go White Sands helped me find value and self worth. White Sands helped me transform my life. The therapist are attentive and the Behavioral Health Technicians were relatable and understanding. I have been sober for over two and a half years and believe that this place has given me the tools to become the man I am today!
