While I could not be more disappointed to see you go, I am truly excited for you. I know you are doing what is best for you and your family. I can't express in words how grateful I am for all you have done, not only to get me through my injuries, but to get me feeling better than I ever have. There is no way to feasibly thank you enough for taking me on as a patient.

Closing ceremonies are this evening wrapping up an incredible Olympic Games. One of the best parts of this experience has been the US Medical Staff supporting the athletes. I have never been around such a hard working, professional group of people at any event. Thank you so much for your time and expertise - I've never felt or fought better, and I credit the great staff at the US Medical, particularly your treatments.

I am so tired of hearing stories of people being injured or just not getting the results they want. I keep current with the training and nutrition literature and of course, I walk the walk. Anyone can put you through a workout that makes you sweat and feel sore the next day. But very few can determine what YOUR body's needs are, blend that with your personal goals, and teach you how to exercise the right way and have fun while you are doing it!
The paper The association between body fat and musculoskeletal pain: a systematic review and meta-analysis says there are strong positive "associations between increased body fat and widespread and single-site joint pain in the low-back, knee and foot" and "elevated body fat may infer increased risk of incident and worsening joint pain."
Research has demonstrated that high frequency vibration "acts on muscle to enhance force, power, flexibility, balance and proprioception suggesting neural enhancement" (1), can help with muscle pain (2), ease DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) (3), and injury rehabilitation (4). In English, this means that the vibration and percussion provided by Thor's Hammer has been scientifically shown to improve muscle performance.

Dr. Horwitz has given me great strength training advice over the past year and a half. In a recent 30-minute teleconference he helped me with improvements to the setup and form for my bench press. I’ve been lifting weights on and off for more than 38 years, and now, with his help, I’m on my way to a new PR. I continue to be amazed at how much Dr. Horwitz has been able to help me accomplish in a relatively short period of time. I highly recommend.

Dr. Horowitz, whom I can't bring myself to call Steve though he insists upon it, has a methodical process, dictated by decades of experience. His analysis draws from: textbook knowledge, scientific-peer reviewed studies, and real-world/practical knowledge. Consuming details you may or may not think are relevant, analyzing, making connections. His affable and gregarious nature make connecting easy. He's down to earth, he listens - this isn't a one way "i know best. Don't you see all the letters following my name..." Type conversation. There is a mental, physical, and emotional probing to get at

I spoke with Dr. Horwitz about some serious issues that were concerning me. He very thoroughly reviewed my xrays & my symptoms, and provided a ton of valuable information, so I could make an informed choice for going forward.
He also offered many suggestions for helpful exercises and supplementation, that would provide a good basis for maintaining improvements.
What I am most grateful for, though, was the reassurance he gave me. When you fear the worst, it can not be overstated how comforting it is to hear from an expert, that it’s not as bad as you fear.
Thank you, Doc. Xo

In a previous life, I was an internationally ranked tennis player. In my current middle-aged world, I play tennis, golf, cycle, run, surf and coach my three boys in baseball, lacrosse, and basketball. Nothing makes me happier than being able to spend time with them in a competitive environment Last year, I was in Cuba with my 13 year old playing baseball and had the pleasure of fielding a fly ball in left field and holding the runner on second with a crisp throw to my son on third base. It was a small moment, but one that I will look back on when I'm in my rocking chair. There is no doubt that

My name is Chance Dean and I've been working with Steve for the last 2 years. I first met him at a foundation he was volunteering at. He started helping me stretch my sholders because I was having problems. Steve saw that I was getting into wheelchair power lifting. So he was showing me things that would help me. I asked if he would be interested in training me and he agreed. Ever sense my bench pressing has went from 275 pounds to 345 an still getting better. My Sholders are healthier than they've ever cmbeen.

Dr. Horwitz worked with our youth baseball team, developing specific exercises to warm up and prepare for baseball activities properly. The work on running skills alone were worth it, not to mention the rest of the exercises to help them learn to use their bodies properly, even as they are still developing and growing. Definitely has a good sense of how to use the body, and easily relays that information in an understandable way to others!

Dr. Horwitz is a miracle worker! I broke my femur about 5 years ago, and since then I have been compensating, leading to major crookedness issues. This has been quite problematic in my athletic career and has hindered my ability to progress. With just a few sessions and a personalized training program, my problems have nearly been erased!

I had ACL reconstruction in 2008. Being an active mom of 3, I still wanted to enjoy activities like boot camp, Crossfit and softball. However, my knee continued to give me limitations post surgery. I have been to some great chiropractors but none have used the techniques Dr. Horwitz did. We have been able to improve strength mobility so that I can continue to be active but without the pain. I appreciate Dr. Horwitz's commitment to his profession and encourage anyone to visit him whether it's for a problem focused concern, maintenance or even improvement of athletic performance!

My 12 year old started training under Dr. Horwitz in the spring for baseball to great results. Dr. Horwitz determined a routine that fit my son's body type and current abilities and tailored the workouts toward baseball.
Within a month, the strength and body awareness my son gained allowed him to play without shoulder and arm pain. He recovers quicker after games and has more stamina.
Dr. Horwitz works great with my son, and teaches not only the "how" but the "why" of every exercise.
