You get to see your doctor, when you need to because I have limited the number of people in the practice. Dr. Heldridge has cared for our whole family from kids to grandparents, for about 20 years. He left his previous practice after it was bought by a terrible company (even then he made the best of it) & we're eagerly waiting to hear where he settles.

The most crucial part of DPC is adequate time spent between patient and physician, creating an enduring friendly doctor-patient relationship. Supported by more access to care, DPC enables unhurried visits and frequent discussions to assess treatment decisions aimed at long term health and wellbeing.
Fees are 30-90 dollars a month, depending upon age and number of family members that are also members of the practice. BECAUSE YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR MY TIME! Most labs are less than 10 dollars per single test, and I use Quest labs. There are discounts for more than 1 member of the family joining our practice!
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a very different payment model for primary care being embraced by patients, physicians, employers, some insurers and many policymakers across the United States. The most important element of DPC is an enduring and trusting relationship between a patient and his or her primary care provider.
It means we are going back to what worked so well in the past. Simply put, I'm immediately available to you. When you come in for a visit, I will know you well beyond your medical history, and we will work together as a team toward your health goals and well being. Direct primary care means rarely waiting in the waiting room, and seeing me, your personal physician, whenever you need to see me.
