TrueMedicine was founded by Dr. Matthews to be a premium healthcare provider in North Texas and has been serving the Trophy Club, Southlake and surrounding areas since 2008. We pride ourselves in treating patients as we would our own families. Our priority is to ensure that you, our patient, feel comfortable and at home from the moment you walk through the door.
TrueMedicine offers a concierge plan for both convenience and quality of care to meet your schedule. We provide Men's and Women's health including, routine checkups, testosterone therapy and B-12 injections. I just got back from the Doctors office and I had to leave a review. Dr Matthews is truly a great Doctor. Highly intelligent and caring with a tremendous bedside manner. He puts the patients needs first. He really makes it an enjoyable experience. Dr Mathews has the best office staff. They are totally professional and responsive to the patient. When I was able to have in office appointments, Dr. Matthews was at least 30 to 45 minutes late for each of my two appointments. I started doing virtual appointments due to his tardiness and overall disrespect of my time. On the Teledoc visits, I’ll speak to him for 30 seconds or a minute at the most in order to get my medication refilled. His office is billing me for a full appointment each time! I can afford my medication, but not a doctors appointment every three months @ $115/each!

I have lived in 6 different states and had to change doctors many times with the many moves. Dr. Matthews and his staff are the best team I’ve ever had. The staff is welcoming and they get to know you, so.you don’t feel like just another patient. Dr. Matthews is always prompt (unlike most others). He takes his time and really listens. I had a problem and called the office minutes before closing. Even though he was still busy with other patients, he made it a point to call me back and make sure I got helped. I absolutely love Dr. Matthews and his team and cannot possibly say enough good things

I’m a busy executive and I expect a physician to care for me as though he would his own family. I also expect that physician to run his practice with the same attention and care that I give to my own company. Dr. Matthews delivers on his promise to treat patients with compassion and as though they are his own family. His goals for my care are completely in line with what I want for my life and he challenges me to achieve optimal health. His recommendations are evidence-based and also based on his unique “medical art form” (balances research with common sense and his own professional experience

Dr. Mathews has been my doctor for a few years now and I am very pleased with everything from his knowledge and professionalism, staffing, Rx refill turn around time, and ability to schedule last minute appointments. For example, I hurt my lower back pretty bad yesterday and called the office this morning. Instead of me going to the local doc in a box, they made an opening for me at 10:45am with no delay. From treating my high blood pressure to allergies, I am very pleased with the treatment I have received. Highly recommended doctor and staff!

Dr. Matthews is fantastic. He always takes plenty of time with my grandmother to make sure she is well taken care of. I feel much more at ease knowing she has doctor who genuinely cares about her well being. He talks WITH you and not AT you, which is something very rare with doctors I’ve found. The supporting staff is great too. Thank you for all your good work with my family.

I am very disappointed in TrueMedicine Trophy Club. I heard such great things about the Dr.'s so I booked an appointment and waited 4 months because of the great things I heard. I had medical records transferred from my prior Dr.'s in California and awaited my appointment. Leading up to the day I never received a confirmation call, a call about blood work or any communication. I had a feeling something was not right. And then at 7:30am the morning of my appointment the office called me saying that the Dr. was not going to be in that day and they had to cancel and would call me back
