Lincoln Square Apartments has been in business since 1992 and is located in the heart of the business district in downtown Springfield, IL. Our family and locally owned apartment community has a number of residents who have made Lincoln Square their home since the very beginning.
The community has been voted "Best Apartments" in 2013 by Illinois Times, as well as the winner of the "Reader's Choice" award from the State Journal Register in 2012, 2013, and 2014.With 94 units, our apartments provide many amenities and are located within walking distance to all downtown attractions.

Our community is located close to Sangamon Mass Transit District so you'll have easy access to public transportation to get wherever you need to go. We do not have our own parking facility but we do have agreements with two secured parking garages that allow our tenants to pay a reduced monthly fee to park (above ground - $50; below ground - $70).

Lincoln Square Apartments is a great place to live. I had an apartment here for several years and the staff are always responsive if you need anything. They maintain the apartments, buildings and grounds extremely well, and the location is convenient being close to downtown restaurants, landmarks, the hospitals, and the government buildings.
The courtyard is enjoyable to relax and lounge at with the pool and patio furniture. They have multiple grills that always have gas in them so you can grill out. My neighbors were always pleasant and never had any issues. There are also cameras in the courtyard

Friendly management and Immediate assistance with any issues. Clean apartments. Stayed here for an year. No issues. Returned the deposit with in a week after vacating.
Only downside no onsite parking, but you can park on street side after work hours for free. And there are near by paid parking garages.

I've lived here for 9 months and I cannot say enough good things about the staff. The maintenance people are always on top of things and they respond to any and all requests immediately. The apartment I'm in is not part of the main quad (it's on 6th street) and if there is one drawback, I will say that some of the interior appointments and fixtures are somewhat dated and could stand to use some upgrades/refinishing, so that is the only reason I'm not giving a 5 star review.
