Services
We will do our best to accommodate your child's school schedule; however, as afternoon appointments fill quickly, your child may need to miss part of a school day in order to be seen in a timely manner. Dental appointments are considered an excused absence by California State Law. Our office will be happy to provide you with a signed verification of your child's visit if necessary.
Parents may be surprised to learn that their general or family dentist typically doesn't work with young children. While many family dentists have a good approach with children, they may not have the tools or time to treat kids with the patience and gentleness they need. A pediatric dentist specializes in working with young children.

This is an office with great dentists who truly care about making kids happy, healthy, and comfortable going to the dentist.
Our kids went here for about 5 years and we were really happy for several years. It looks like a forest, there are toys in the waiting room, they give fun prizes, and in every way they're so centered around kids.

I took my 18-month old to Dr. Rabitz, and he did great! He was so comfortable, he didn't fuss or cry. The office is super cute, the staff was super friendly, and Dr. Rabitz was sooo nice and knowledgeable. The office also had lots of COVID-19 precautions in place. As a dentist myself, I was very impressed with the office!

This is our first visit with Dr.Lam. My son had awesome experience with the Doc. She patiently answered to all my questions and offered no additional treatment unlike other dentistry i have tried. It was a quick and smooth process. All staffs was great, welcoming and cared about making things smooth for kids.
I would definitely recommend her to my friends and have set up an appointment for daughter as well.

Love this dental practice. My son has been a patient since he was 15 months old due to some pretty serious issues with teeth and Dr. Rabitz and his team were amazing then and continue to be amazing now (my son is now 16.5 :-) Merleen is the best! Always greets with a smile and always very helpful! And I love the newer dentists as well, especially Dr. Suzy (who has been my son's primary dentist now for several years). Dr. Suzy is very professional and knowledgeable, and always explains exactly what is going on with my son's teeth. Furthermore, she is always smiling and has an upbeat personality

We have seen Dr. Lam and Dr. Suzy and both have been so good with our young boys. All around great experiences every time we have been there. We've seen dentists that don't specialize in pediatrics and there is no comparison.
We had appointments after COVID and the changes that they made to their office and processes to keep everyone safe are impressive.

Dr. Lam is amazing. She has taken such good care of my kiddos and she always makes them so excited. I am so happy my kids haven't had a bad experience at the dentist. They aren't scared to go to the dentist! They're excited to go! I recommend them to everyone for pediatric dentistry. The front end is amazing too. Always kind and welcoming. The aesthetics are awesome too. All around an amazing place to be a part of!

Waiting room: lots of toys for kids, fake Forrest type trees from floor to ceiling, very cool
Front office staff: warm and friendly
My toddler is, well, a toddler and didn't really want to stay in one place at first. They let him have a toy up front which was nice, took us to a room with a door to help contain him more. Dr Lam came in, was very nice, not patronizing or judgmental, my son actually let her put her fingers in his mouth to check his teeth. She answered all of our questions

This past week it was my 2.5 yr olds turn for his 1st check up. This meant all 3 kids had a dentist appt and they loved it. They put us in the rooms becuase sister needed to get her molars sealed & to help keep little one comfy. It was great. Dr. Lam played a quick game of show me where your nose, ear, head is with my older son so my younger would copy, she worked on my eldest 1st, & casually laid my youngest next to my oldest & did his exam. Didnt even faze him.

This is a decent pediatric dental office with a generally kid-friendly atmosphere. I used to take my child here but we switched doctors when Dr. Lam told me they wouldn't try sealants because of a strong gag reflex during xrays. My child does have a strong gag reflex but was fine at a previous dentist in another state, yet at Rabitz I agree that gagging was a problem. Subsequently, we haven't had a problem gagging at our current dentist as long as they listen when a break is needed. Our current dentist was able to put sealants on the molars as recommended. Otherwise, I liked the doctors

My kids have both been going here since they were very little. The office is very cute! It's very clean and organized. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful!
We've been seen by each Dr. in the office and my kids are very comfortable with all of them. They really know how to make kids feel at ease. They explain everything as they go and are very gentle.
All of the hygienists are great too! Very gentle and kind. Neither of my kids are ever scared or nervous to go to the dentist. They actually look forward to it!

The office staff is very diligent and professional. The best part is the dentist, who really cares about the child and proper treatment plan. I had a bit of an issue with some logistics which he took care of immediately. Your kiddos will enjoy the fun environment and balloons and toys at the end of the visit. Dr Rabitz is a great dentist and person. I'm glad I took my daughter to him for a second opinion.

Our first visit here was great! My son is 2.5 and he had his first big spill on his bike and we were worried about 2 of his front teeth so we took him in to get a professional opinion. He had never been to a dentist before and we were hesitant because he usually doesn't do that great in these kinds of offices. The waiting area was pleasant and seemed clean. Our son joined in playing with the toys immediately.

My son has been going to Dr. Rabitz for the past 2 years and just recently it was my 1st time taking him for his 6-mos visit. My husband usually takes him. When I first yelped "pediatric dentist" I found Dr. Rabitz and saw how great the reviews were but I was surprised to see how decorative the office was (like a first forest) and that there was a wall dedicated to the little patients for having no cavities. The staff were very friendly and this was my son's first time seeing Dr. Lam. She was very sweet and was wearing head band with a lamb on it. Cute!

The absolute BEST pediatric dentist. My daughter has had many issues with her teeth and yet she still looks forward to our trips! They make the dentist fun and not at all scary. She loves the treasure chest after her appointment and they know child development incredibly well. I trust their opinions and know that they have her best interest at heart.
We have also utilized their after hours on call doctor and have been so grateful for such awesome doctors. They truly care about the child's wellbeing first! Highly recommend!

We absolutely love Dr. Lam, Gina & Ms. Merlene! We've been coming to this place for a few years and love the family environment and we can feel how much the staff genuinely care for my kids. Dr Lam is amazing!!! 10 stars for her! She remembers everything that goes on with each of my kids from each visit even if it was months ago and always… follows up with a phone call after each appointment to see how the kids are doing. Yes I so love her! Gina is hilarious and amazing! She's friendly and always makes my kids feel at ease. Miss Merlene is superb! Friendly and warm. I highly recommend

I was a patient of Dr. Rabitz father, so it was a no brainer to bring my kids to his son practice. My daughter loves coming to the dentist. Her first visit was so great the staff explained everything to her & she even asked them to clean her teeth twice & they did.
My son just turned 2 a few months ago & I had been bringing him to his sister appt… so he could start getting familiar. Well he wanted nothing to do with the dentist. So i was expecting a battle for his 1st visit. He was nervous at first following sister around, he found the toy tree & feel in love with the snake

Our daughter feels comfortable there - both in the waiting area and in the treatment rooms.
The waiting area has been decorated in a kind of forest / play-area style, and it's very cute. The treatment rooms have TV screens in the ceilings and the kids get wireless headphones so they can watch stuff while they are treated. Not a peep out of my daughter the whole time she was in the chair. Her eyes were glued to her movie :)
