Elefante Music offers year-round private instruction on piano, voice, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, woodwinds, brass, orchestral strings, and drums. Our carefully-selected instructors are professional musicians with various degrees in music education and performance. Take lessons in our studios* in New Providence and Scotch Plains or from the comfort of home in virtual Zoom lessons.

Karen studied at Bucknell University and has been serving as Director of Elefante Music's Performing Arts program for many years. She is the creative force overseeing the many performing arts classes that took place virtually and in person at Elefante. She also organizes and directs the popular Musical Theater Camp.
Elefante Performing Arts students have appeared on Broadway (School of Rock, two students in Waitress), in National Tours (Les Miserables, two students in Kinky Boots), in Netflix television series and films (Gypsy, Alex Strangelove), in feature films with Oscar nominees (Amanda Seyfried's A Mouthful of Air), in music videos with pop recording artists (Jason Mraz's Have it All), on public television (Sesame Street), in numerous commercials, on cruise ships, in top NYC cabaret venues, on professional regional stages, in community theaters, and in their school shows at elementary, middle, high schools, and top colleges.

We have a good experience here. I called the store because My daughter needed to get one piano book. One lady was very kind and helpful . She able to find the book and ship the book to SP location which is closer to my place. I forget to ask her name. I would l like to thank you again and would definitely come back in the future.

I just cannot say enough good words about people working at this store!
They did their best, being super-helpful and responsive in a critical situation I had last week. It was an emergency, as my kid had an important audition coming, we didn't have time for amazon or online stores, and everything local was shutdown. After wasting a whole Friday calling multiple stores, in the evening, out of despair, I placed an order at the Elefante Music website, describing our circumstances in the comments section. Saturday morning I got an email, saying they are going to check inventory, when they open on

I needed to rent an instrument for my daughter for school and due to my negligence I needed a rush order. The staff there is outstanding (Kudos to Jim and Carolyn). They were able to fulfill my request without a problem in an expedited fashion. I was really happy but then I realized I ordered the WRONG instrument. Another Bad on my part, I called back and had to re expedite something already expedited. Not a problem at all, they swapped out the wrong instrument for the correct one. Thanks once again to all who helped (a second time). Instead of looking like a goat I was able to save face and get
