I'd be wary of this shop. I spent $500-$600 on glasses. I had to get the lenses redone as they were constantly fogging, and within one day they scratched. I called and sent an email and no one called me back. After waiting to hear from them for a week, I stopped in the store and they told me that there's nothing they can do. I've been wearing glasses for over 30 years and I've never had lenses scratch in one day. Also, they were constantly fogging. I've never had that either. Clearly there's an issue with the lenses. But, I'm out of luck.

I don't even know where to start because everything was wrong at this place. I was treated so rudely and condescending by the doctor (Dr. Daniela Minnis) and staff at the Woodstock location I actually left in tears. First, the woman working at the front desk made a snarky comment about how when I sent them a copy of my insurance card the image was "really big" and that it was hard to see (lots of issues with verifying my insurance that I won't even get into). Seemed unnecessary for her to mention unless her goal was to make me feel crappy (it did). Then when I filled out their

Tired of those assembly-line optical warehouses? Visit Eyestyles instead for a completely personal and bespoke experience from the optician to the optical specialist to the glasses specialist. You will receive a complete medical assessment, including photographs, and answers to all your questions. Because of their smaller size, it also doesn't take as long. Try it!

I have been going to EyeStyles for four years now and Dr. Thorsland is a true professional. He is great at explaining the changes that occur with my vision as I age and what options are available. The new technology they have that allows you not to have your eyes dilated is wonderful, too! Their selection of glasses is very stylish and they work well with your insurance. Keep up the great work!

Over-prices and doctor didn't listen to my concerns. Gave me the wrong prescription, ignored me when I brought up my concerns about it, and then tried to get my to buy multiple pairs of glasses with unnecessary expensive add ons. Had to go to a different eye doctor to get a second opinion. Regret coming here and wish I hadn't wasted my money on the appointment.

A few months ago I received my ($1000) prescription glasses that I ordered from Eye Styles on Belmont. I am still extremely unhappy after three adjustment visits and my glasses are still uncomfortable (heavy even after ordering the thinnest possible lens) and the transition part of the lenses is very ineffective. I literally have to push my glasses up off my face in order to read small print. After each visit, I'm just told "it takes time to get used to/adjust to new glasses". It has been several months and I feel extremely frustrated that I paid so much money for glasses that

Really nice practice, but they only carry incredibly expensive frames (starting at $300) and I found out later that they charge more than double the going rate for exams and contact lens fittings. I'm new to Portland so I am still learning what things cost. Even with insurance, I paid a significant amount out of pocket just for an exam and prescription renewal. When I called them to discuss their rates related to other shops in the area, like Pearl Vision for example, they said "We don't practice that kind of optometry. It's simply not part of our mission. I'm sorry there

I've had great vision my hole life, but have a few serious medical problems. dealing with doctors is very frustrating for me, it seems they don't n haven't wanted to get anywhere. I gave up. until this summer my eye started bleeding from the retina into my blue ring, eyes. I had no clue what to do. I knew the hospital was a waste of time. I took a chance. against my belief that doctors are really a waste of time. I didn't want to go blind. So I picked eye styles and got a ride. I was blown away, took me off the street, no insurance. Dr Shinn new how serious my problem was. and

Just had a horrific experience at Eye Styles with Dr. Shin. Let me fill you in....
So I needed a new contact lenses prescription and thought, "Hey I should just go somewhere close to my neighborhood." I made an appt. Last Monday i went in to Eye Styles on Woodstock and had an appt with Dr. Shin. I let Dr. Shin know that I am very happy with my contact lenses and feel like my eyes are pretty stable, and have probably changed very little. He did all the normal eye exam stuff, which was fine. He found that my eyes had not really changed. He did tell me that perhaps if he changed it just
