The approach of Professional Psychiatric Services is an insight-oriented psychotherapy, face to face and in your language of preference (Spanish/English) in order to help people understand and express feelings, motivations, beliefs, fears and desires. We worked with individuals, families, and/or groups to treat emotional and mental disorders while promoting mental health. Our Mental Health professionals are trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques used to address issues, such as depression, anxiety, addictions, substance abuse, suicidal impulses, stress, problems with self-esteem, and grief among others.

I am shocked and appalled at the lack of professionalism. We got weekly appointments for the first 2 weeks, then the therapist would text the night before our scheduled appointment to cancel. Then she would text the day of our appointment...never once calling. My wife and I asked for the name and number of her clinical supervisor, the woman text us the main # for the office!!! Eventually the supervisor called and seemed concerned, switched us to a new therapist who was great for the first 3 weeks...then the cancellations began. This place is a joke. Don’t waste your time !! I should’ve learned from the past reviews !!! Waited over a half hr for my appointment, just to find out that I didn’t need the appointment because it was the same one I had the week before. This was my second time in the office and I witnessed multiple people arguing and being very stressed with the front desk and other staff. Unless you are fluent in Spanish good luck !! They seem to make people more frustrated when they’re trying to get for help for themself. Please Please find another place that can handle simple tasks like making appointments! Very very disappointed

I would give 0 all reviews are the truth ..even though as of February I was told they no longer take my insurance they continued to telehealth me with Dr barreto And billed united healthcare and got paid continued to give me appointment as of July 26th I did not receive confirmation text so I called and left message no response until united healthcare called I was told by Amy I would have to pay in order to receive my meds this is a week later at time Amy said she di she was sending confirmation of payment I declined at time because I thought I could use bank statement until united healthcare said

So I called to schedule a telemedicine appt yesterday they said they would call me for my telemedicine appt at about 6 in the evening..I needed to make the payment ahead of time(since they don’t accept my Ins) waited all night for the call which never happened..I called the office and got no response..it now Thanksgiving day and I have no meds n of course the office is closed today. This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional!!!

Sad to say, very racially biased group. Folks at the front desk always snarky towards my wife for asking questions about services they render. When she was set up at this location initially, she met with one doctor, then out of the blue they told her she would no longer be seeing him. Being that this is a psych/therapist and patients should be able to build a trust with one doctor... Having management swap you to whatever doctor they want without prior warning is very unprofessional and is not what this type of service should strive to provide for thier patients.
