This place was recommended by my auto warranty for engine replacement, they did not do the paperwork correctly when they did my engine the manager their told me the engine is new and had low miles. A year and couple months later my engine went out took it back because of noise the manager said keep driving the car until it completely stops on me. Turned out that the engine they put in was not properly done and they would not guarantee it because a year went by. I have a car now with a bad engine. Would not take my car or any car of mine to this place ever again!!.

Called and received an estimate for shocks, struts and brakes in my 2015 SIlverado in June 2020. I specifically asked for Ceramic brake pads. When I arrived, he said just leave it to me, got ya. I returned, picked up my truck a few hours later. SInce then, My brakes have left black dust all over my wheels, Never had that issue before and now a year later, squeeking loudly once in a while. I clean the wheels, spray out the brake dust, but it quickly returns. I haven't yet called, I was under the impression he said lifetime warranty, however its Not in the receipt I was given. Anyone else have these

First mistake was going for a cheap oil change a year and a half ago, with coupon. A couple days after, check engine light went on. They said it was my EVAP switch. Didn't fix and it went away. 2nd oil change, check engine again. They said oil switch and the oil was leaking. Strange. No oil on my parking place but okay. Didn't fix right away. 3 weeks later, ran out of oil. Took it in for repair. Spent over $1000. Got it back 4 days later. Check engine light went on again. Took it in. Ano

Had my forester for a while now with zero issues took it here to get all the flushes with a coupon. Charged me more cause it's a subaru. Should have mentioned it during the quote on the call. 2 days later car over heats and leaking coolant. Pop the hood and radiator isn't even full and resevor is bone dry. Couldn't even properly burp the engine and could have potentially destroyed my engine! That should be part of the process on every vehicle they touch.

I hate leaving this bad review but it's been sitting with me since the incident happened. A few months ago I took my car into Purrfect Auto and was helped by Frank and the other guys who have always been so helpful since I had started going before the world shut down.
But this last time I went they were attempting to fix my map sensor again/ computer ( on going issue with my car ) and while they were doing this they had my car for a week and had one of their mechanics take my vehicle home during this time my car was broken into and things were stolen I had spoken to frank on the phone multiple

Update 6/1/20: I brought by our family's work truck that had a check engine light just to get a second opinion. as soon as i pulled up behind the middle garage bay and before i could get out of the truck, i could see an older gentleman laying into a mechanic. after i got out, i told them i had a check engine light and wanted it checked out. he then flippantly told me that i shouldn't park there and someone could rear end my truck. (yeah, right.) i gave him a moment to kind of realize that i had left more than enough space for anyone else coming in to avoid my truck and to park, and then

The best Auto Service place I have been to in years. Frank runs a very tight ship and is one of the most customer service oriented and HONEST mechanics around town. My car make and year has factory transmission problems (there is a class action lawsuit against the maker), and the issues that came about were extremely difficult. Frank and his team took the necessary steps and care to resolve the problem! Not once did I feel like just a number - I felt like a family member was taking care of my issue. Although the process was very arduous, I felt that all the guys were there to GET THE JOB DONE

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!! Went for a smog because of the cheap prices posted on the website and they told me it would take about 20 minutes, well ended up waiting for almost 2 hours and when they finished they listed multiple things wrong with my car (cracked belt)(new brake pads) and also didn't give me the price that was promised, i had just recently got a new belt installed and took my car down the street to have another mechanic look at my car to see if he agreed to the claims they made about my belt and brake pads. the mechanic told me and showed me that my belt was completely fine

I like this shop. Came here for a couple of oil changes and brakes and Frank has always been fair with his prices and service. Last time I got my brakes done, he charged me less than others had quoted and when I called him to let him know my brakes felt a little weird, he didn't give me any attitude, he said "bring the car in anytime". I did that and he made some adjustments. My brakes work perfectly now. I appreciate a business that stands behind their work. I'll be coming back for sure. Thank you Frank!!

Awesome service. I couldnt understand why this place has the ratings that it has. I was calling around for a standard oil change and needed my tires rotated and balanced. Other places charged too much for the tire job, but Purrfect quoted me about $52 for my needs. Friendly staff and I didnt have to make an appointment. Thanks!

For me, trust is the number one factor in determining a good auto repair shop. I've been driving a car for over 22 years now and finally can say I found a shop I can TRUST. Two other factors play a role in finding a good shop, service and quality of work. Another two traits this shop possesses. Save your time and money and do not go to any other auto repair shop in La Habra. Frank and the boys will take care of you.

I have had the fake oil change pulled on me.
Got home, looked at drain plug and oil filter to make sure no leaks. The old filter was still there. Went back and had them redo everything insisting that I watch the whole process. Also reported them to Bureau of Automotive Repair and BBB.

Disappointed. Took my car here for a smog and oil change. The only reason I went here is because they advertise such a low cost for oil changes....but they don't tell the full story. They only show you the cost of the labor so what I thought should have been a $18.99 oil change turned into a $55 oil change! Will not be coming back here.

This place is such a rip off. I went here because my check engine light was on. The guy at the counter charged me 45$ just to read some codes to tell me what was wrong with my car. I looked on Amazon and you can buy the same code reader for 35$ fyi. Then he said 4 senors needed to be changed. I took my car else where to get a second opinion and the other mechanic checked my car for free and told me only one senor needed to be fixed.

We are new to the area and we took one of our cars in for an oil change after my mother-in-law took hers in last week and had a good experience. They did a great job with the oil change and assessing possible needs in the future (same things our old and trusted mechanic had mentioned before we moved). We are going back with another car this week and are hopeful for more excellent service. Kelly was friendly and great at communicating with us too!
