Good customer service, I didn't wait for so long. Dr. Wang is very smart and she's got the looks too, she has bionic eyes to do her assessment, obviously, an expert. I also felt her true care for me as her patient, she has the heart. A very big recommendation to others. The Dr was down to earth, pragmatic and was able to solve my issue while I was there such that I did not have to schedule a follow-up appointment.

Reaching the nurses station to request refills is a tremendous hassle. There seems to be some new phone system in place and I had to wait near 10 minutes to reach the front desk, which is required in order to be transferred to the nurses station, and another 5 min wait just to leave a voicemail. Please allow for an option to input an extension number or make available a direct line to the nurses station. Establishing a line of communication should not be this hard.

I've been seeing Dr. Menkes for years. He and his staff are amazing! Though I've been seeing him for years, I just decided to write this review. Over the past year, I've been dealing with a stubborn case of melasma. After numerous PIQo4 treatments, Dr. Menkes has significantly improved my condition. Have been calling repeatedly for refills, was denied that, reason -that I need to see the doctor first, (even though I had scheduled a visit). I only asked for a refill 2 weeks before the appointment because my skin issues had intensified severely.
Moreover, even after my appointment the proscription order has not gone out yet. (And as expected the appointment was 5 minutes when the doctor literally told me to continue the meds)
After calling my pharmacy I came to know that I could have just refilled my medicines from last proscription.

Very unprofessional and left my skin in a worse situation than when I started. The punch biopsy was pointless and costed hundreds of dollars. It added a scar on my stomach that hasn't gone away yet.
Dr. Menkes was also unprofessional, often late 30 minutes or more to my appointments after they switched over to this new Golden State Dermatology booking system. On my last visit, he also did not provide any help and instead asked me what I should do.
