Burlington Beer Works supports and promotes the local craft beer industry, and needs your support to help it keep evolving. Let's work together to educate the community about the art and science of brewing, and enjoy a couple of pints in the process!

Our shared sense of community and camaraderie gives our local brewpub the opportunity to thrive, positively impacting our members and the public, which only helps to make our beer taste even better! We just can't wait to share an evening with you in one of our main dining rooms, at the beer or cocktail bar, on the patio, or even the rooftop overlooking beautiful downtown Burlington.
Services
Welcome to North Carolina's first cooperative brewery and restaurant with the aim of securing a shared network of local and regional partnerships made up of farmers, producers, and service professionals. Our goal is to brew great beer, but more importantly we believe in empowering the people of our community to collaborate, and leverage the collective effort of our organization in becoming an integral part of Burlington's future expansion.

The food was wonderful! The service was below expectations for it to be as nice of a place as it was. The hostess was sweet, but the bartender was only interested in making sure to give attention to the “regulars”. If you don’t go to this place often, or have never been before you aren’t top priority at the bar (which you have to sit at if you don’t have a reservation). An elderly couple made reservations and they sat them by the door (it was cold and rainy outside). They asked to be moved to the other table that was the same size, just not beside the door, and the bartender (Em, as I

Great place for some good local brews. Mexican Lagers to IPAs, and Stouts for a good variety depending on your taste. Also serves local ginger beers and ciders. Their food and cocktails looked good but we only came here for beer. Bartenders were very friendly and made our experience a good one. We will be back.

Great beer, atmosphere was good but the bartender/server couldn’t have been any less friendly. It was like we were inconveniencing her. The least friendly server I have had in years. But that Black IPA was delicious.

Average food. Below average service. Above average number of flies buzzing around your food.
I wanted to like this place. It was a gorgeous day, and the beer was cold. However, the service just took entirely too long. I mean it was the kind of long that takes up your whole afternoon. They weren't even busy. I'm guessing they were short staffed in the kitchen.
They had enough wait staff but they all appeared young and inexperienced. Totally frazzled and forgetful. It looked like it was everyone's first day on the job. Overall, it felt stressful. Like a hostage negotiation standoff waiting for

The service from the staff and food was great. There was plenty of flavor in shrimp tacos and fried green tomatoes. I give two thumbs up for chef who was cooking this afternoon. I will come back also to enjoy the vibe and drinks with my friends.

Friendly helpful staff, artichoke dip was extraordinary, salad with chicken and bacon was fresh and plentiful, beer hit the spot but could have been colder.
My husband enjoyed the shrimp tacos and said he definitely would return.

Burlington Beer Works is a very cool place to hangout in Burlington with good food and decent beer.
My only negative is everything is just a tad too expensive and the food portions are on the smaller end. For example, a pint is 7$. It's decent beer, but not 7$ a pint good. We ate the Glenco chicken sandwich and the fried chicken. Both taste great, but for the price the portions were smaller than I'd like.

It was pretty food. Severs were nice and friendly. Outside area is nice to sit at. We had the spinach and artichoke dip, super cheesey..yum, a little salty not much spinach.
The beer wasn't that great esp for $7 a pint. Cocktails were also super small
I had the Glencoe chicken sandwhich. It was good but so much bread compared to filling. Not much chicken in it. I ended up taking the bun off so I could actually taste the chicken and toppings. I needed to go home and eat after eating here! :D
My husband got the fried chicken, it was ok, super small portions for $17. The greenbeans tasted canned

Not a great beer selection. They didn't have any gluten free beer options at all. They do make their own seltzer in house, but it was a bit too sweet for my liking. My spouse wasn't a fan of any of the beers he tried either.
But, their spinach artichoke dip was pretty spot on. Great portion size and delicious in house chips. They do also have a nice, large outdoor patio area where we could sit with our puppy.
