Taking our inspiration from the tables of Italy, we have brought the authentic flavors right to you. Our Restaurant first opened its doors in 2012, after Main Chef and owner Guillermo "Mosca" Mendez, with 20 years of experience working in the Italian restaurant business, took the decision to venture out on his own.

Driven by his strong passion for food, deep love for his profession, and unconditional support from his family, he opened Mosca's Italian Restaurant in Downtown Burlington NC. After some years, what started as a modest restaurant, grew into a recognized established restaurant which outgrew its Downtown location, and called for relocation in order to continue offering the best Italian food and excellent customer service.

We used to order from here all the time. We have ordered the Tuesday special several times. It is supposed to be $5 off of $25. However, they now argue that it is $5 off of $30. We check the website, and sure enough it still says $5 off $25. I am completely okay with specials changing. However if you can't even bother to update your website, then you should honor your advertised public information. Absolutely ridiculous.

The food was pretty good and the waitress Jessie was excellent. Unfortunately the owner refused to honor a coupon in which we presented to the staff at the time of ordering. As I explained to the waitress, if this is the way he chooses to run his business then I shall not be going back.

The food is great no doubt about that. The service is a disaster from forgetting people on hold to no one at the front to consistently getting the order wrong Moscas service has completely fallen apart. Go for the food but bring your patience you will need it

Arrived at noon, and there was no wait. Restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. I hadn't been here since they moved from their downtown location. The food was delicious as always.

First time…the spaghetti tasted like a can of tomato sauce poured over needles. The meatballs were very plain. The bread was nothing more than pizza bread rolled up. They had very few workers. Waitress never once asked how our food was. Will never go back.

Very good food and service. Very reasonable prices, cheaper than the big chain Italian restaurants. More of a family diner atmosphere than a fancy restaurant.

The waitress was very nice. I enjoyed my chicken parmesan and spaghetti. My date enjoyed his seafood pasta. The only thing I didn't like was the breadsticks. They were hard. I guess they were supposed to be hard but I just didn't like them.

Mosca's is a great Italian restaurant in the Burlington south Church Street area. Consistently good and plentiful dishes!
The dining area is open and doesn't look like a sports pub, which is good! There are large tables and booths for large groups of people.
The staff are kind and welcoming which makes this an overall great restaurant!

A nice place to go if you're looking for good food and a nice and quiet dining experience! We went here for the first time and were not disappointed! The food came out super fast and the portions were very generous! We also thought the prices were very reasonable for the food that we got!

Food wasn’t very good at all, the bread weirdly tasted like stale cheezits and my pasta was gritty and cold. Service was ok but we waited awhile to be seated while several young girls stood around the front desk and talked. Atmosphere is ok. Not planning to go back.
