Most of our offerings are fabricated in our Long Island and Connecticut workrooms.

I am very happy that Manhattan Shade and Glass stands behind their product. The Installation and Repair Department was terrific, I emailed that I had a problem, and Stuart Kein, the Supervisor, called and emailed me that they had a person in my area that day. We spoke and set the time that fit into my schedule. The repairman was very efficient and pleasant. I would recommend them for their professionalism and product.

I have to say that Manhattan Shade & Glass totally stands by their products and service. I've been a customer since the 1980s and they're still a family owned business--something quite rare in this day and age. The product quality and functionality is excellent and the people are accessible--very 1 on 1. I had a minor issue that I brought to their attention that was resolved immediately, with a smile and good cheer. I can't recommend Manhattan Shade and Glass enough. I say stay away from the 'big box blockbuster' companies that may save you a few pennies. Rather, support

We installed very expensive electronic shades with them. the quality of the shades initially seemed good, but they have broken SEVERAL times in the only 3 years we've had them. And what's much worse is that the service has been AWFUL. They never return my phone calls and it takes weeks to actually get anything fixed. Customer service is horrible. DO NOT recommend using them.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Mitch and the team. Pleasure to work with, great communication and worked with me through my other construction to go around my schedule for install. Mitch did a great job helping me design the correct shading for my apartment so I ended up with exactly what I wanted. Had some Lutron Serena mechoshades installed and everything turned out absolutely perfect. I really could not be happier with the service and attention to detail that they gave me. Highly recommended!!!

I had a great experience with Manhattan Shade and Glass! They fabricated and installed all of my window treatments, hardware, and blinds, and I couldn't be happier. Everything was custom made to my specifications, and adds such a finished look to my space - I always get compliments. Their follow-through and customer service is also on point - there was an initial issue with some panels not being attached as intended, and they remedied it very quickly even during one of their busiest seasons. I found Manhattan Shade and glass through my designer. The sales department was extremely helpful. They rushed an order for blackout shades to be installed while our custom drapery order was being fabricated. The shades look beautiful. I noticed they are meticulous with their finishes. Very satisfied and my designer will be using them for our summer home as well.

Like the other reviews customer service is horrible. Took 2 months to have 6 shades made then I was told they would be shipped on a Monday which didn't happen. When I complained I was told it wasn't there fault they didn't get on the truck. If you're the one shipping isn't it your responsibility to put it on the truck too? Stay away there are plenty of other shade manufacturers that will treat you better

I have had an exceptional experience with Manhattan Shade and Glass. Their customer service (aka the major hand holding I needed!!) has far exceeded my expectations. I've purchased custom pillows, drapes in both my living room and master bedroom, as well as solar shades throughout the apartment- all look absolutely beautiful. Manhattan Shade assisted me in picking high-end fabrics as well as the general design of all of my window treatments. I am truly thankful for their professionalism and experience. Installation was a breeze- their installers are highly skilled and won't leave the apartment

Never!!! The customer service here is awful! Never again! I tried to go to the local store and support my neighborhood and got the worst service. Im still waiting for the manager of this store to contact me as I asked for this months ago.
Went in for an estimate on my kitchen, living room and daughters room for black out shades. Kimi was my sales person who I had to follow up several times for my estimate. Their employees -- especially in the glass and treatments shops -- are kind as can be, always willing to help and spot-on efficient with orders. The management is a different story; arrogant and ineffective, the current manager never responded to a query I made when there was an issue with fabrics my wife had ordered for our daughter's room, and instead of an explanation or (imagine) an apology, he spouted nothing but corporate doublespeak and cop-outs about the "global economic downturn!" IMAGINE THAT - especially considering what the company charges!
