When I know I need a fabulous lamp shade for a special lamp base , there is only one place to go to and that is Oriental Lamp Shade Company. I have been dealing with them for over 35 years. First, shopping at their store on Lexington Ave. and now at the location on 72nd Street. They are always so accommodating in choosing the proper shade for my needs. It's always a joy to shop there. I have used this store to make custom lampshades for me for over 20 years, and their work has always been superb. Whether it was an unusual shape, or a difficult fabric, they always did a beautiful job. Last weekend I was looking at a pair of lampshades they made for me, with 15 years ago, with pleated fabric that matched the curtains. Wit the lights shining through - what a pleasure!!
