We strive to provide the best in conservative, non-surgical treatments to those who have suffered sports-related injuries in order to bring those patients back to full health. Sports and Performance medicine focuses on optimizing athletic performance, as well as preventing and treating various types of injuries one encounters during sports or exercise.
We diagnose and treat injuries through the use of non-invasive, non-surgical techniques with the goal of returning the patient to full performance. We are also able to provide pain-reduction treatments for both acute, sudden and chronic, long-term pain. Physical therapy is often used in the treatment of sports related injuries.

Services
City Sports Medicine is a private sports medicine practice located in midtown New York City. We specialize in non-surgical, conservative treatments for spinal injuries, as well as injuries to muscles, bones, and joints. Our professional staff also consults and advises on issues associated with sports medicine.
Rehabilitation is crucial in regaining, improving and maintaining ones strength and mobility. As rehabilitation specialists, we can quickly diagnose and provide treatment for a variety of injuries affecting nerves, muscles, and bones. Our methods of conservative, non-invasive rehabilitation treatments are especially vital in treating many sports-related injuries.
Electrodiagnostic testing measures the speed and degree of electrical activity in your muscles and nerves. This innovative diagnostic tool is very useful in deciphering the cause of symptoms such as pain, tingling, numbness, and weakness. Electrodiagnostic testing is one of the most reliable ways of determining if nerves and muscles are functioning properly.
The medical treatment procedures we use at City Sports Medicine consist of proven and effective non-invasive, non-surgical and conservative techniques. Trigger Point Injections (TPI) are used primarily to treat pain. This procedure involves inserting a small needle into a specific trigger point area and injecting an anesthetic into the affect area.
Hip and thigh pain can be hard to diagnose and treat without professional medical supervision. The hip and thigh areas of the body contain the largest bones and muscles and are packed with various nerves. Aging, trauma, and sports related injuries are the leading causes of hip and thigh pain. Piriformis Syndrome is a disorder caused when the piriformis muscle presses on the sciatic nerve.

I have gone to Dr. Feuerman in the past and most recently a few days ago. He is an excellent diagnostician. He diagnosed my problem each time very quickly, correctly and then showed me with anatomy images what was wrong and how to fix it. He also has a beautiful office and they are constantly cleaning- an important thing during this pandemic.

I've trusted Craig and his team for the past four years with the health of my shoulders. Every time I sit down with Craig, I know he is focused on me and I trust our dialogue. He does a fantastic job of being direct but also caring and has helped me navigate non-surgical and surgical options for my shoulders. Physical therapy with City Sports Medicine and the team overall is a fantastic experience. I still travel 45+ minutes whenever I need orthopedic advice.

From JAMES S DAVIS (JIM DAVIS)I went here for physical therapy from roughly July of this year through November 1. Initially 2x and week and then 1x for the last month. It was recommended to me by my PCP and was a great place. I am a 74 y/o male in good condition, gym 2x a week, but had strained/sprained a muscle(s) in the piriformis/gluteus medius area where the leg joins the hip, through overextension in stretching. Could only walk about 100 feet initially. Dr. Feuerman initially checked out my limitations and whether I had nerve damage (perhaps my greatest fear), which I did not. His therapists
