Excellent food friendly staff great atmosphere best food outside of Italy would go back again. Jovi's can be counted upon for great Italian food, friendly and timely service and a comfortable neighborhood feel. No chain feel here. No wonder - the same family has owned it for decades!

It's an older Italian decor with Sinatra and Dean Martin playing in the background , very enjoyable. Started with a nice glass of Chianti with complimentary warm fresh baked bread with a delicious garlic butter. Then some delectable artichoke hearts Franchisee! With my dinner I chose the soup of the day a roasted red pepper, shrimp and Risotto , it was delicious, rich creamy plenty of shrimp, awesome! I got the veal Romano with more artichoke hearts. It was delicious! The wife got the Braciole which tender and delicious . Friendly service. Will return!

My husband wanted to take me to Jovi's 'because their food is delicious.' He hadn't been there in years and thought it was a good idea to take me there. He was wrong (and admitted it!)
We made reservations ahead of time but they ended up not being necessary since we were one of two occupied tables. When a place isn't busy on a weekend at peak dinner time, that's a good indication that the place is near-empty for a reason.

I have had really good food here before but today was a total disappointment. Our appetizer was overcooked and our meals were just bad. Not sure if the cook is just a bad cook or if they are purchasing terrible frozen Manicotti.
I heard two different tables complain about the long wait for food and one table got up and left. I get it if you are short handed but mention it ahead of time so people are aware. I didn't complain while I was there so as to not embarrass my mom or the waitress. I won't be back anytime soon.

Due to Covid restrictions Jovi's hadn't been opened for awhile. Went on a Friday night. The restaurant was at 50% capacity and every table was full. They have changed their menu, which I found very interesting.
I ordered the special of shrimp and lemon ricotta pasta with tomatoes and red peppers $23. I asked for it to be served without… tomatoes. When the server brought my food which seemed to take awhile, she said "oh, I forgot no tomatoes." There weren't any red peppers but a boat load of tomatoes. I didn't want to wait for my food while the other guests were eating so as to why I didn

So good!!! I love my Italian food and can be pretty picky but this place hit the spot!!! My husband ordered the chicken Marsala and that is one of his favorite dishes. They did an incredible job and it was one of the best he had. Although they are only open right now Fridays and Saturdays for takeout due to COVID-19, it was incredible service from the time that I called to picking it up. They came right out to my car and it was very quick and convenient. Everyone was very nice and made sure we were taken care of, even under these unusual circumstances. If you are looking for amazing Italian food

Ok, here’s my take on our dinner at Jovis last night. The setting was nice once you got through the very crowded and very noisy bar. Once seated in the dining area behind closed doors it was a bit quieter. The appetizers were mostly good. The artichoke francaise was delicious, the stuffed banana peppers were good also. The Tuscan bruschetta was… supposed to be onion, tomatoes and fresh mozzarella on toasted Italian roll. This was probably one of the worst restaurant experiences I have encountered.
Ordered soup- pasta fagiole -was delicious-
Caesar salad---just awful-
Filet, medium---- cooked to death hard to chew
Tripe---definitely not like my grandmother used to cook.

If your looking for some excellent Italian food with perfect service (Jennifer) make this a first on your list. Better than Mulberry's Italian. Everything was fresh and the pasta was not over done or reheated like some other restaurants are doing these days. Prices were amazing for what you received. We cannot wait to take other family members to visit this restaurant. We visit many restaurants in and around the western NY area. Make sure you check this one out!! You will not be disappointed.

This place wasn't really good, me and my boyfriend went and the chicken was really slimy, it was dead quiet when we went, all we heard was the classic rock coming from the kitchen.
I will say that our server was very nice, and when we didn't eat the food she didn't make us pay, I tried to tip her but she refused. The soup we had as an appetizer was amazing, if I ever go back to jovis, I'm going for the cream of chicken soup!

This review definitely describes this establishment as a "yikes." I went with one other individual around 5 pm right after work, we were the first there for dinner....didn't expect to stay there for over two hours. Maybe someone didn't show up, maybe it was an off night but that was some of the slowest service, right down to the server constantly offering us more bread over and over as to distract us from the fact that it's taken over an hour to make our entree.
Our server, Tracy was very scattered, it took about 15 minutes to even take our order. She kept disappearing

I recently went to Jovi's for dinner during Local Restaurant Week. After my great experience, I found myself wondering why on earth I don't go to Jovi's more often! It is great Italian food at an extremely affordable price. They also offered one of the greatest values I have ever seen for Restaurant Week's $20.17 price.
I started with the Meatball salad. I had never seen it on the menu at any other Italian restaurants! It is a delicious garden salad with a large meatball and sauce. It sounded odd to me, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! The meatball and red sauce mixed surprisingly

Great place-I love it! The antipasto, bread and desserts are to die for-awesome and very reasonable! Loved the that it's a locally owned authentic Italian place and nice atmosphere, besides the loud bar :/
The owners daughter served us and I'm happy to say I'll be back tomorrow! One of my favorite places to eat bar none!
