Services
In 2013 we saw a need in our community for art based cultural activities and started Machina Arts. As millennials, we understand why it is so hard to keep young or youthful minded professionals in our area. We ourselves struggled with the decision to stay or leave. In the end, we realized that the beauty of this area is that it can be whatever you create.
Machina Arts has been curating pop-up interactive gallery installations and art-based events in Keene, NH and the greater Monadnock Region since 2013. We work with a wide range of artists to throw full-scale art events, sculpture gardens, and traditional art gallery openings. Machina Arts also hosts events featuring live musicians, DJs, and dancing.
We view art as an interactive experience in which guests are active participants rather than passive observers. We want our guest to feel immersed in the experience that we have curated from when they walk through the door to when they interact with each staff member or enjoy each dish that they are served.
Machina Kitchen hosts monthly five to nine-course prix fixe dinners created by Chef Jordan Scott. Each dinner will be paired with drinks created by lead bartender Becca Paine. These dinners will be hosted at 9 Court Street, Keene NH. All dinners require a reservation for attendance. Please let us know in advance if you have dietary needs so our chefs can be sure to accommodate you.
Machina ArtBar offers arts & music events! These events include live music, DJ's, performance art, and visual art shows. We also offer quarterly themed events that include visual art, music, food. Costumes are encouraged for these events. Our ArtBar has a 40 person capacity, so make sure to book your tickets early in order to secure your spot!

The menu leaves a lot to desire. the bar is chique with a cool atmosphere in both meanings of the term.
the drinks are nice but take 10 minutes per cocktail - as a mixologist with years of experience my qualified opinion is that the ends did not justify the means here. Definitely worth the try though!

The food was very delicious, I had the machina burger with crispy red potatoes. Honestly, I love the red potatoes more than the burger, they were to die for honestly. My only complaint food was is the fact that they only offer brie cheese and goat cheese. I feel like there should be offered more cheeses given they have a cheeseburger on their menu. The atmosphere was a little weird for, I’m more of a casual diner and this was kind of upscale and “hipster?” I guess you could call it that. The location is also inconvenient as well. If I do come back, perhaps I’ll order takeout instead!

Fantastic farm to table restaurant. Every thing we ordered was delicious , flavorful and fresh. Hot delicate biscuits, chicken dumplings, chicken schnitzel, burger all with locally sourced ingredients. Our bartender Becca was great, quite the mixologist! We loved the drinks, food and space. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is fantastic. The drinks are creative and delicious. Complicated cocktails with complexity that is hard to find in the area. Food was also excellent. Smaller plates perfect for sharing. Options from the light and crisp to hearty and filling. Sharable plates let you sample a good portion if the menu. Portions are smaller but quality is higher than other comparable resturants in the area. Fun vibe on the bar side for drinks and the restaurant side is a calm clean experience.

I drove an hour to come here largely to meet with friends but it was the most divine food, spectacular atmosphere, delectable drinks, stellar service and even one of the owners came out to join us and make sure everything was absolute perfection-- which of course it was! It's a haul for me but I will be back!!! Worth every minute and every mile to come here!

First time here and it was pretty good. I had a Hawaiian layover? Pineapple refreshing summer drink with peppercorn, very good. We had the scotch egg, duck cassoulet, Korean pancakes, and trout. Overall it was pretty good. The reason why it's not getting a five star is because there was a lack of seasoning (salt) on three of our dishes. Service is really good and I like the ambience. We were also at the bar and that was fantastic.
