After a long battle, we have finally succumbed to the effects of the pandemic. We hope to sell the restaurant to someone who will breathe new life into it and keep the hearth burning, but for now we must close our doors. Thank you so much to all our wonderful customers and our amazing staff of Fireworkers, for giving fireworks the unforgettable opportunity to share a table filled laughter, joy and great food, with the people of Keene.
Hopefully we'll be back someday soon and welcome your smiling faces once again to our doorstep.

Services
Fireworks restaurant was first opened in 2008 in Brattleboro Vermont, by James Beard Foundation accredited chef Matthew Blau and his wife Kristin Anderson of Max's Restaurant and Metropolis Wine Bar. In 2011 we opened our Keene NH store and the rest is history. After selling the Vermont location in 2016, the Keene restaurant is now the one and only Fireworks.
The food is and always has been what it's all about at Fireworks. As soon as you step into the place, you will likely notice a conspicuously placed gigantic stone oven with an open hearth. Well folks let me tell you, this is not just for looks. This is a very special oven, used religiously by many great chefs including Wolfgang Puck, a dude who prett much changed pizza forever.
At Fireworks we take our drink as seriously as we take our food and our service. From an always rotating selection of local and regional craft beers and carefully chosen wine list, to our famous signature cocktails and fresh sodas, we hope we can please your palate as thoroughly with our drinks as with our food.
Thank you so much for considering Fireworks for your next event! We are certain it will be as memorable as you desire. The events shown are examples and can be adjusted to fit your needs. Event pricing may vary, up or down, depending on several variables, such as the number of guests, when your event takes place (day of the week and week of the year), what exactly your event entails.

It’s been what a year maybe more since this place was open? It’s closed because of short sighted management and arrogant over reach. And that short sightedness and arrogant mentality was a very pervasive element in the employee choices as well that inevitably ran it into the ground.
But even still who thinks a fancy expensive pizza place is going to work in a college town with 20+ pizza competitors?
Even if you get the people down there in your demographic with the money to spend the competitions still gonna wipe you out with that type of menu being pushed; so it worked in Brattleboro stick

Absolutely terrible experience here. They completely butchered our order and when we informed them they dismissed us as if it was our fault. We ordered drinks - they never came out. Appetizers took 40 minutes to come out and when they did, you could tell they were probably sitting around for awhile since it was not hot and tasted bad. Main courses took FOREVER and when they finally came out they ... lacked flavor - to put it nicely. Will never come back here again. Oh, and the waitress and her manager were incredible rude and dismissive to us. Can't remember their names but they were short blonde

I celebrated my graduation this evening in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a fine evening and the restaurant was absolutely one of the reasons for this outstanding evening. The waiters collaborated in a very nice manner, the cooking was extremely good and my friends were so thrilled. We shall absolutely come back again for more events. thanks very much.

I ordered chicken breast and risotto which came with two breaded breasts. One breast was good the other was rubbery. Not sure what happened but really gross texture and Risotto was bland. My daughter ordered the ravioli with butternut squash which she ate....all five of them. Good thing she is tiny and wasn't very hungry but anybody else would have been ordering something more. My husband's Portuguese spaghetti was bland. Waitress came to table once and my husband had to beg for refill of his soda. We asked for dessert menu waited 10 minutes fir the menu and 15 maybe 20 to order but by then we

So disappointing!! First time and last time there. The service was horrible, server rushed us to order. Brought our appetizer, but must have forgotten to order our food, waited over 45 minutes without even checking in. When food arrived margaritas pizza was only cheese, tomato slices NO pizza sauce!! Cheese Ravioli with butternut squash looked like it was leftovers from another table!! DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The beet salad was EXCELLENT. Large portion. The goat cheese very creamy. The spinach salad was very tasty and fresh.
For dinner I had the gnocchi which was creamy, flavorful. But I thought the gnocchi itself was over cooked and very mushy and soft. I think a purist might have hurl this dish at a wall. But for me, it was ok.
The eggplant rollatini dish was very good.
We returned the 2nd night.
I had to have the Beet Salad again. It was that excellent. Nice balance with the goat cheese - of which I'm not a fan, but, it was very creamy.

We loved it !
Found this restaurant while in Keene.
Driving Along Main Street and seeing the weather was perfect we parked and chose to walk around and see what new restaurants were available to try. We walked a block down only to find "Fireworks"
we didn't know what to think about it at first it seemed like a formal type of restaurant. We stopped inside to take a peek and check out their menu, also asked the hostess if there was any kind of dress code, and her response was no 😄👍
Excited by the response we quickly asked to have a booth and proceeded to our table.
