Family and friends; good times with both. This is how Whim House began. The Dodd summer home on Nantucket Island was purchased on a whim, and thus, appropriately named, "Whim House." Inside the casual but timelessly appointed home, great memories have been made throughout the years. All these times include great friends and family gathered around the table, or outings around and about the island.

Services
Our Whim Manhattan recipe is a perfect cocktail for entertaining or for having a relaxed day at home! The Whim Manhattan combines whiskey, sweet vermouth, and our most favorite Woodford Reserve Bourbon Cherries and The Bitter Housewife bitters. Combine the vermouth, rye whiskey, and bitters in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

We had a great experience at Whim House. The owner is so wonderful and welcoming, and happy to chat with us as we browsed the store. Then, when we accidentally got the wrong frame, she offered to drive to us in order to deliver a replacement! The service was excellent, and the store itself is just so cute. You must shop here!

While I don’t get to visit Whim House in Danville often, it’s a friendly respite in my day. The candle aromas are spa-like as you enter the boutique, welcoming and calming while browsing. Keva
Is always engaging and warm. It’s my go-to for a special gift whether it be one of her beautifully photographed cookbooks or reasonably priced handmade totes from Madagascar,
the pricing is in line with the elegance and quality of her unique merchandise. I look forward to visiting Whim House again soon!

Really disappointed in this ridiculous store they are sooo snotty and have absolutely no good customer service shocking they are still in business they have No exciting to sell anyway. I have been through that store 2 times and both times I feel an attitude that is so telling

This is my favorite "something for everyone" store. There are always unique, cool items, covering all price ranges. The owner takes immense pride and care with everything in the store, making it a pleasure to shop there. She also helped me with our large paint project last year and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this store!

Whim House has the best home goods in Danville. This gem of a home store is a must see! The owner, Keva has a passion for providing the best home decor to completely personalize the design in your home; because let's face it, it is all about the details. From the dinnerware and dining sets, to handmade and carved pepper mills, to the comfiest patio chair you will ever sit on, definitely worth the visit! Oh and they also sell through their website for once you get addicted.

I love this little store with so much to offer. The owner, Keva, is incredibly knowledgeable and couldn't have been more welcoming and warm. She is committed to doing everything she can to helping her customers achieve satisfaction. I am working with her on a paint project, and I have more confidence knowing she will be on my corner along the way to offer assistance an expertise if needed.

I found this sweet little shop one day when I was meeting my husband across the street for lunch. I wasn't planning on buying anything (I am not much of a shopper) but I found this amazing wooden bowl that I had to have. I spent about 1 hour chatting with the owner. Since then each time I visit I have such a good chat with everyone working. They found out I am a Natural Chef and have given me ideas to support my new business. It is such a loving place and great addition to the Danville community. Great place to find a unique gift too.

I love this place for distinctive, unique gifts. It smells so good in the shop, not sure if it is the candles, the flowers, or what, but it makes it so pleasant to be there. They always have items that I have never seen before, which is why I love it. They also have a great selection of greeting cards, which makes it a one-stop-shop for a birthday or other occasion.

This is such a cool store! Lots of beautiful stuff for your home, and great gifts for the person-who-has-everything. The Farrow and Ball paint is amazing. Just had my entire home interior painted - the colors are beautiful. Keva (the store owner) was so helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process.
