I have to admit I'm pretty much a house "nerd." I enjoy visiting open houses, wandering through furniture stores, and checking out the home and accessory sections of stores. I'm a huge HGTV fan because it's usually inspiring, and hey, the content is always appropriate if little kids wander in while you're watching it, right?
Using furniture and accessories that homeowners already have, we rework the spaces to make them look appealing to the potential buyer. First impressions are everything! Staging puts your real estate listing where you want it to be - at the top of the "showing list." We were looking at houses to purchase and I couldn't visualize myself living in the homes, I looked back at the homes and realized it's because they had so much personal items and furniture still in them.
Sellers are often overwhelmed when preparing their house to sell. Decluttering, repairs, paint choices, personal items, furniture arrangements and updates are all important, but where does the seller start? Together we walk through the house, beginning at the curb, to create a Staging Checklist, noting improvements needed to make the home highly marketable.
Home Styling is using what you already own and love. We add to those pieces and can bring in new pieces according to your budget and time constraints. We begin with a phone call, and then meet face-to-face, discussing the project and to see if we're a good fit. If so, we make a plan and move forward.

Shana was amazing to work with. She really has an eye for design and knows that works and what doesn't. She was super helpful with advice on how to best stage my home in combination of my furniture and her staging materials. I highly recommend her if you are looking for soft staging (aka occupied staging) of your home. She is a timely communicator and I would happily use her services again.

I work with Shana, the owner of Clover Lane Design, in the Real Estate Staging Association of Dallas, where she is the president elect. I've been a member of RESA for almost 10 years and have met a lot of stagers and designers there and just wanted to say that she possesses the unusual pairing of a gracious spirit mixed with a very high degree of competence and efficiency. I get a different view of her in action than does a typical staging customer as I see her run large meetings very well, getting a lot done to help her peers and doing so with real joy.

My experience with Clover Lane Design was great. I never knew how important staging a home was until I had the opportunity to work with Clover Lane Design.
