Class passes are used to register for all regular classes. For convenience and savings, class passes in bundles of 3, 5, or 10 can also be purchased. Wear clothes you can move in. They don't have to be skin-tight, but avoid anything too loose-fitting as they may hang and get in your way during some poses.
Bring a yoga mat or large towel to practice on. If you don't have anything suitable, or you accidentally leave it at home, don't skip practice! We have loaner mats available. Stay for the entire session. The final poses often help you transition back to "normal" without losing the sense of peace gained throughout the lesson.

Great for new students, those returning to their yoga practice after a break, and those looking for a more gentle, slower paced class. Enjoy a classic yoga experience with warm-ups, body-strengthening postures, breathing practices, and relaxation techniques. In this class, you will be able to refine and strengthen your postures without feeling rushed. Variations will be offered so that you can practice what feels best for you. Beginners are welcome in this class and are encouraged to check out our "Tips for a Great Yoga Experience" on our website before attending class.
Enjoy nature and aren't against stopping to check out cool stuff on the trail (as well as stopping periodically to hydrate, rest, and practice some standing yoga stretches)? If you answered YES to any of the above, you are welcome to join us! You don't need a fancy bike or technical clothing, but a bike helmet is strongly encouraged!
This will be an ACCESSIBLE class; the entire class can be done in a chair or on the floor! Join us for our monthly restorative session and take some time to de-stress and recharge your batteries. Restorative yoga consists of gentle, supported resting poses. This inward looking practice helps create the conditions for us to cultivate the skill of conscious relaxation and release unnecessary habitual tension in the body and mind.

Explorer Yoga is a great yoga studio, perfect in its size and offerings for a town the size of Chillicothe. There are one to two classes offered on most days of the week in multiple styles of yoga, accommodating mixed levels of practice.
Teachers are knowledgeable and will adjust students' alignment as well as showing options for each asana, helping to prevent injuries. The studio has outside teachers come often, teaching classes on meditation and wellness.
