With the recent change of our credit card processor, we are once again able to accept most HSA and FSA cards (ETF cards are currently not working).

Services
Together, Community Pharmacy and Community Wellness Shop are an independent, worker-managed cooperative whose mission is to promote better health in our customers and our community. In the fall of 1972, the UW-Madison Wisconsin Student Association (WSA) sponsored a volunteer-run pharmacy to provide students with affordable medications.
Serving the Madison community since 1972, Community Pharmacy offers a wide variety of organic herbs, vitamins, supplements, commercial and custom-made homeopathic remedies, flower essences, essential oils, sexual health products, natural body care products, and so much more. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is always available to help you select the right products for your specific needs.
We love helping our customers in stay as healthy as possible. That's why we have the word "community" in the name of both our stores. Our number one goal is to help others by offering an excellent product selection, as well as expert knowledge. Here are a handful of photos taken in our stores, and around town.
We have been encountering technical difficulties with our online form that has led to delays with our order processing. Until this issue is resolved, we have chosen to remove this function from our website. We are encouraging all our amazing customers to call either of our locations to place their orders.

Along with in-store shopping, we're offering curbside pickup, speedy local delivery & daily mail orders to make sure you quickly and safely receive all your wellness needs.

Update: I think it’s important to note that the pharmacy is making efforts to address the concerns I noted in my original review. The pharmacy manager did reach out to me and sought to gain my perspective on the interactions that I have had at the pharmacy. She verbalized an intent to attend to my concerns with staff. Hopefully things go better for folks in the future.

I wanted a 2.5 star option here, but given that the pharmacy is the negative end and there can be big issues when a pharmacy has an issue, I tipped down instead of up. Definitely the place to go if you are looking

Stumbled upon this place while on vacation in Madison. The 20% off on CBD products kinda piqued my interest. Stopped in to check it out and was not disappointed.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Walked me through the products they had on hand.

Nice place but some of the workers aren't that friendly. Its a great store for those that are into all natural items. They got a great selection of anything. You name it, snacks to cosmetics and natural oils you can blend on your own. They also have a nice little selection of books offering all sorts of DIY type things and anything related to healthy living and many other misc topics.

Went there to get a specific product I had never gotten before, and one of the employees (lady with black hair) was so very knowledgable and helpful in assisting me with my purchase. She explained everything in depth, went over all of the options, and more. I should note that not once did she ever recommend that I get the most expensive item, she was just trying to help me find the item that fit me best. She was very honest and authentic. Yes, the prices can be a bit high, but they have high quality products and fantastic customer service. Thanks so much!

I true healing place. They carry many all natural products and their prices are cheaper than Willy's Coop just blocks away. The people working here are always so caring and they will suggest what is best for you not just what costs more. Many great healing products for all needs, cheaper than a pharmacy and they work better. Great atmosphere too!

The helpful people working at Community Pharmacy can always help me figure out what I am looking for - and their depth of knowledge is HUGE. So happy that I can seek their guidance when I don't quite know what I need. The selection is not huge, but they have always offered to special order anything I need. I highly recommend them for your wellness needs!

I've been coming to this store for almost a year now and I have never been happier! Even on weekend days the service is fast, the workers there are so nice, and the quality of their products is refreshing. I usually buy herbs, oils, and medicines there and all have given me what I wanted and needed from the products. If you need anything to heal you or make you feel beautiful you must come here!
