Pretty good brunch with bottomless mimosas. We were able to get one appetizer, one entree, and the mimosas. There was also an option to switch appetizer with dessert. The server was nice and service was good. The appetizers were good, calamari and tuna poke were the best. I got the BEAT sandwich which was a good breakfast sandwich. There were fries or tater tots, or fruit I think. Pretty quiet Saturday brunch with socially distanced tables.

Saturday night. Skimmed through the menu online and I’m out. $35 fixed for a 3-course meal consisting of appetizer, entree, and dessert. The picks are Calamari, steak, and vanilla creme brûlée. For drinks, I order the Strawberry Bourbon Smash and Rhino Pilsner. The mixed drink was very tasty, it was the first to go without hesitation. Here comes the calamari and I always get excited to see how many tentacles I will get. Just a couple this time but that’s fine, the serving is generous. These were light and cooked well. The dipping sauce tasted like something I would make at home (I am known

The service was very slow. We had to wait over an hour for our food. When we received it, it was not prepared based on what was on the menu and the server didn't advise us on missing ingredients. The manager up charged us for each entree to pretend like he gave us a discount. The food was decent but service was slow and the manager is not lacks integrity. I wouldn't recommend based on the lack of integrity.

Seemed short staffed. The waiter was a little rude answering questions. They did give us an extra free Mac n cheese just because so that was nice, but nobody's food tasted that great. The prices were standard for a good quality restaurant DC but this place just missed the mark. Looking at the photos posted here by other users, as well as our own, you'll get something different any time you go.

1. The fries were cold when served.
2. The front girl told us there aren’t any available table inside until we asked to pack our food and leave...(We’ve seated outside and ordered , but it was too hot outside). While we were sitting outside, some group of pp were led inside without being asked if they have reservation.
No intention of Coming back. Reminders for future customer: make reservation ahead or find some place else. Plus the food is mediocre

I debated reviewing this place because I know they're struggling recovering from the pandemic.. but the owner actually got mad at us when we asked why our food was taking so long.. additionally threatened to cancel our order 45 min after we placed it because we weren't "patient". The food was good, but not worth an hour wait or being yelled at. Not a repeat for us. Not joking, 60 minutes after we ordered, we were able to eat. The worst part: we had reservations.

Amazing food where do I begin! Our server Maya was outstanding, attentive and helpful. The food was hot and quick to come out. Everything we tasted was beyond tasty. We both got the bottomless mimosa brunch which was a great deal and it came with an appetizer and an entree. We split the Mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, shrimp and grits and the salmon with tots!! Again everything was so good and I am already planning my return! Also A + for making me feel safe during the pandemic they had great outdoor seating and all servers were wearing masks and provided sanitizer.

We used to come to District kitchen when we lived closer. Now that we are closer to DuPont circle we don't stop by as often. However, I have always liked this place.
Service is good, drinks are great, and the food is great too. One of my favorite drinks that I thought was well done at District Kitchen was the old fashioned. Part of their secret was they make there own cherries and bitters. If you are into old fashions you should definitely try it here.
On this particular occasion we were in the area and just wanted to stop for a drink and a break before continuing our journey. We had

Last night DC opened at 5:00 pm for outdoor dining, and we had 5:00 dinner reservations! We were excited to be out with real people at a real restaurant. I must say that our experience was quite nice. They were following the new social distancing and cleanliness rules, and I felt safe.
My husband and I took out our two college aged kids to celebrate. We got a variety of dishes including steak with a side of fries, shrimp and mushroom risotto, mac and cheese, salmon with yellow rice, and for dessert, bread pudding. I felt that it was a just a bit overpriced, but of the food was really good, and

Wherever I'm in DC I'm akaTs in the Woodley Park area. It's very close to various areas I like to go to. Well today I along with two other individuals decided to go out for lunch. Well of course it's Saturday and bottomless mimosa were definitely wanted so we came to District Kitchen. The food was excellent and so were the drinks is. The venue isn't really big but big enough for guest to be seated comfortably while we ate. I opted for the Tw egg,Woodley with bacon, wheat toast and potatoes.. it was delicious!!! Definitely will be going back !!!

Came here for dinner. I did notice our waitress and another waiter explained different specials. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp dish; he loved it! I ordered the half salmon dish (3 ounces of salmon); it was expensive for the size. It was a small piece of salmon but had a large portion of the veggies. The salmon was slightly overcooked but the dish was still very good! We ordered the half order mac and cheese - it wasn't great to be honest, it lacked a lot of flavor. I also thought that it was on the smaller size. We also ordered the cashew broccoli side; it was delicious. I like that they

I would definitely come back if I'm the woodley park area for a quick bite on my way out. I sat at the bar had two cocktails & appetizers. The avocado toast with lump crab meat & corn & the muscles.
The muscles were good but the sauce was just okay the. Read provided with the muscles was nice and warm. The avocado toast was great would've never thought to put crab on It.
Overall very friendly staff & the food was fairly good. Looking for a quick bite place on the way out with nice ambience that won't break your pockets? Go here

Since we arrived early, we decided to grab a drink at the bar at District Kitchen. We ordered a Red Sangria, Strawberry Mojito, and Paloma but the bartender messed up the order and gave us two Strawberry Mojitos and a Paloma. We didn't accept the wrong drink and demanded the fix. The Red Sangria consisted of red wine, rum, and, prosecco. It said it came with fresh fruit but it didn't. It didn't even come stirred or with a stirrer. The Strawberry Mojito consisted of white rum, mint, muddled strawberries, lime juice, and prosecco shaken and served over the rocks. It was sweet and fruity

Near the Marriott Wardman Park where we three were attending a multi day conference.
We wanted cocktails and light bites, and we agreed this did the trick. We have all been to better gastropubs but we appreciated this was close by and reasonably reviewed on Yelp.
Service at first way too slow. Then picked up.
Indoor and outdoor seating. Drinks were fine. Menu options fine. We shared crab apps with avocado and shrimp ceviche. I would get a burger if returning (burger and fries looked better at this place).
Nothing wowed me but I personally was ok with our overall experience here. This is on

We were super lucky to find this place. We had actually tried to get into three other places for dinner. The place is super cute and service was excellent. We ordered a bunch of things to share like a Buratta salad, crab toast, paella, desserts, and cocktails. Everything was delicious.
Four of us ate and drank for $35 each including tax and tip. This place is not cheap, but we were not displeased with what we received and the price.
Will definitely be back on our next visit.

Passed this Woodley Park restaurant many times on way to and from downtown so finally decided to try it for bunch. On an early Sunday morning it was not very busy but had a steady stream of customers in small and large groups. There is a pleasant patio out front with big umbrellas and sectioned off with potted plants on the fairly wide sidewalk. The small dining room with a bar in the back has the contemporary decor of stressed bare brick walls and dim industrial style lighting but furnishings showing a bit of age - tears in the vinyl banquette seats and the tired looking cork table tops detract
