Especially for adults, the prospect of wearing unattractive metal braces for long periods of time can be very discouraging. Invisalign(R) offers an almost invisible aligning system that straightens teeth fast and contains no metal.
LUMINEERS(R) are an excellent option for people who are unhappy with the cosmetic appearance of their teeth. For some reason, I get nervous with dental work so I am cautious when choosing a dentist. I chose Dr. Kim based on reviews and my insurance and have been very happy. It's been three years, I've had routine dental cleaning as well and four crowns/cavities. I see the same hygienist and I think she does a great job. Dr, Kim's skills as a dentist are excellent. The office staff have always been nice and I've never had billing issues, they are very up front with the fees. I highly recommend this dental practice .

The tooth extraction was performed with no pain. The team properly takes temperature for patients who who were possibly exposed covid-19.
However, the oral surgeon applied a numbing agent (gel) to my mouth without gloves. Also, the consent form was given to me after the tooth was extracted. I am hoping that hands were clean.

Not only is this the most professional Dentist, but also the most professional business in general. Dr. Kim is incredibly detail oriented and kind. They are very flexible with scheduling and have great payment plan options. Not to mention their building has free parking and is extremely beautiful inside. I would never go to a different dentist. Dr. Kim is my dentist for more than 7 years now. He's done several procedures and the result were all excellent. He is a genuine person and very friendly. Staffs are equally nice and the office is very clean, and filled with state of the art equipments. Their appointment reminder is awesome plus free dental kit every visit. I used to live in neighborhood, now in Germantown, the drive is all worth it. After all, Dr. Kim is the best qualified to give your smile back. Thank you, Dr. Kim!

Dr. Kim is fantastic. I've been a patient with his clinic off-and-on for many years, and at this point I travel down from New York to see him. At least one other dentist I've seen described his work as "beautiful." In addition to the excellent dental work, his staff are very transparent about fees and costs. I have not had any unpleasant surprises. Great dentist, great practice.

I've been going to North Bethesda Dental Design for 6 years now and have only had great experiences so I felt it was time to leave a nice review.
Dr. Kim and his staff are always very gracious and helpful.
The office itself is beautiful! Classical music playing, chandeliers and nice artwork on the walls... it makes for a pleasant experience when having to deal with getting dental work done.

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed here. Seriously the best experience. I was so scared but the doctor was super nice and gentle with me. He talked to me the whole time in order to help calm my nerves. He listened to my pain signals and did the best to ease the pain. He removed all 4 wisdom teeth in literally less than an hour. And my recovery was amazing !!! All the staff here is super nice and friendly and gentle too !!! Definitely helped with my dentist fear. I highly recommend this place. Awesome !

My husband and I have both gone here for a few years. We love the ease of scheduling appointments, proximity to the Pike, and of course as everyone mentions, the beautiful office. I had my first major piece of dental work (a crown) and was feeling slightly terrified about it, but Dr. Kim walked me through the process and made it painless. The best part about this office is that my appointments are always exactly on time. I value professionals that value my time, and for this reason, North Bethesda Dental Design is my dentist of choice.

The dentist is fine, but the office staff are awful. I have had all types of mistakes for billing that I don't have the time or patience for so my family no longer goes there.
UPDATE: The office manager contacted me and really tried to rectify the situation. I appreciate this effort and am happy to see they are taking steps to improve. With the facility being as nice as it is and the dentist being as good as he is, there is a lot of potential and I can see why their reviews are generally very good.

The moment you walk into the office you're greeted so warmly and the entire place is spotless and absolutely gorgeous.
even my phone call prior to coming was easy and the woman I spoke to was incredibly thoughtful (she's the insurance coordinator and she's super awesome).
I got my paperwork done and was given a brief tour, offered coffee/tea, and shortly after I finished my paperwork I was seated for my limited exam!
the doctor who saw me was also extremely professional, explained everything to me, and the exam was easy/quick.

I found this practice because they were covered under my insurance, and they've turned out to be great!! After going 2+ years without a teeth cleaning, the cleaning did feel a little rough with the ultrasonic/water instrument, but my teeth felt cleaner than ever! I also love that Dr Kim will explain to you exactly what he is doing, what he is seeing in your X-rays, and really walks you through the entire process so you feel like an educated participant.
