At Vision Care of Media, our goal is to promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept several types of vision insurance, cash, checks, and most credit cards. We inform our patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment. If you require a breakdown of costs, please let us know.
At Vision Care of Media, we strive to meet all of your eye and vision care needs. Corrective lens evaluations and prescription management are provided by our optometrist. After a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation, Dr. Mary E. Fediw will discuss the variety of contact lens options with you to select the type that best fits your vision needs and lifestyle.
Contact lenses are not an easy solution for every person suffering with vision problems. Some eye conditions make wearing contacts a difficult proposition. However, it does not rule out wearing contact lenses altogether. It just means patients need to discuss options with their eye care provider and obtain the specialized contact for their individual vision problems.

Got a pair of glasses there as my optometrist closed due to Covid. There aren't any options for designer or quality frames. I went ahead and purchased a pair of glasses ( cheap looking). They broke within 2 months ( I am very careful with glasses). Didn't get the best service. I can't see without my glasses and have to wait for frames to come in. Won't return.

I have always had good service and care at Vision Care of Media. Dr. Mary Fediw is very helpful and very thorough. I really like their selection of glasses and feel very comfortable. I know I am in good hands. I like going to small offices; you get the personal care you need and you do not feel like a number.

I had decent service when I purchased my glasses for cash. Unfortunately being my first pair of glasses ever I was a little too rough on them and needed some instruction on repair. The doctor treated me rather rudely and said I just need to buy a whole new pair not giving me any other choices. Not only was she rude they lost my file of my whole transaction and acted as though I was not even a customer the girls who answer the phone our sweet and kind unfortunately they’re under her rule. I then went to Costco they gave me a brand new pair of lenses that fit my glasses prescription perfectly

On the positive side, they recycle contacts and contact lens containers which is fantastic. Just bring them in and drop off. Love this.

Otherwise, I've received nothing but hostility from the doctor on multiple visits both during an exam, and while trying to obtain a copy of a prescription.
Drop off your contacts and lens containers to recycle and take your business elsewhere.

Previously bought glasses there. Recently had a screw come out. Went in for repair. Charged $1 for the screw, no charge to put it in. Have gone to other places that I did not purchase glasses and always repaired for free. Will not be getting any more business.

The doctor seemed more interested in your money then your eyes. She had a terrible bed side manner. I will never go back there not recommend her.
