Services
Bats Foundation Repair is your best solution to foundation and structural repair issues in Austin. We are a locally owned and operated business here to serve your needs. Bats Foundation Repair is dedicated to offering uncompromising customer service based upon respect, honesty, and integrity. Our original company was founded in Abilene, Texas in 2002.
For steel piers, if any adjustments are required during the life of the home due to settling, Bats Foundation Repair will adjust all piered areas at no cost to the homeowner. Our concrete piers are still covered by a lifetime warranty and have zero adjustment charges for the first five years. After five years, there is a nominal adjustment charge.
A reputable company should be glad to visit and inspect the apparent damage without charge. Be prepared to allow a more extensive inspection in areas where damage may be less apparent. There are steps you can take to help prevent damage, though there is no surefire way to prevent all damage from occuring.
One major cause of foundation damage is excessive moisture from broken or leaking water/sewer lines. Water saturated soil will not support most foundations indefinitely unless the foundation is secured to the bedrock. Have a plumber do a static test on your lines every five years. Though too much water is dangerous, so is too little, especially in dry regions of the country.
When choosing a foundation repair company we recommend contacting the BBB for a list of companies they support. It is important to check references and even go by the office to meet with staff before you enter into a contract. Use caution when considering companies that offer a multitude of services.

We hired Bats for the foundation, obviously. This was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. They came out gave an estimate. We set the date to start work. However, we were in bit of a rush so I called back to see if there was any way they could start the work sooner. Bats was able to move our start date up a little. Which helped us a lot.
The day finally arrived. The crew was running a tad late but the contractor notified us. Communication made everything ok. The contractor Jose and his crew arrived on a Friday to start the prepping. These hard working men went to work fast. Digging

Excellent! I have a very unique situation where my house has both pier/beam as well as a concrete foundation. The concrete portion was washed out 20 years ago due to a City water line break and left my garage hollow underneath supported only by the concrete beams. Three piers were installed when the line broke but the garage was never stabilized as the stone veneer cracks continued to spread and the garage floor started to sink. I first had the “void” filled with cement slurry and then had Bat’s Foundation come out and install additional solid steel piers to bedrock. The team was very knowledgeable
