Glaucoma refers to a group of eye diseases that lead to progressive damage to the optic nerve, which carries visual information from the back of the eye to the brain. Tears are necessary for maintaining the health of the front surface of the eye and for providing clear vision. Dry eye is a common and often chronic problem, particularly in older adults. With each blink of the eyelids, tears spread across the front surface of the eye, known as the cornea.

I walked in to Dr. Kleen's office this morning expecting to make an appointment for some other day, but the receptionist told me the doctor could see me in a few minutes, if I wanted to wait a bit. Well, this was totally unexpected, but very welcome. Dr. Kleen gave me a complete eye exam, explained the results, including the photographs he took of my eyes, and issued me my prescription for new contact lenses.
Dr. Kleen is very knowledgeable, very professional, but friendly and easy to talk to. He answered my questions, giving my concerns his full attention.

Dr. Kleen was incredibly nice, professional and also personable which made my eye exam pleasant and easygoing. He went the extra steps to give me a prescription for two different brands because I wasn't sure which one. People like Dr. Kleen are what makes these visits pleasurable and not intolerable like other places. Also, the front desk worker was so helpful and friendly!

I was very happy to find a new optometrist that could fit myself and my teen son in quite quickly. With the state of the country, doctors have been sadly backed up, and pushing appointments out for almost 2 1/2 to 3 months. Well, my son's glasses were broken completely and he hadn't seen a doctor in two years. Therefore his other optometrist could not give him his prescription because it was very likely his prescription had changed. Enter Dr. Kleen. Getting an appointment was quick and easy. I've been going to my local Walmart Vision Center quite awhile now. My first impression of Dr Kleen was that he was a bit detached but professional, but later during and after the exam, he was much warmer towards me. I felt he was well trained. The exam itself was pretty speedy, but thorough. He helped me decide which type of lens would be best in my rather peculiar situation (nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other), so it made the task of choosing my lens type much easier, also saving my time. Walmart’s eye center was clean, staff was polite and aware of there products and all the insurance they except. Wait time was short but most of all Dr. Kleen was well rounded in his career and explain your Eye issues as a individual. Takes the time to explain where your at now and what you should and shouldn’t do. My visit felt personal. I will definitely return for my next exams and recommend anyone who hasn’t experienced Dr Kleen’s office. You’ll be pleased!

Dr Kleen and his staff are the best!!!! I was visiting out of town and needed a last minute prescription filled for contacts. Dr Kleen and his staff went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of.
What amazed me the most was that his generosity and time spent was of no benefit to him (I live 5 hrs away). Which goes to show what a great person he is.
