The Arapaho Ranch Cabins are among the best mountain cabin rentals in Colorado. Nestled deep in the pine-filled forests of the Rocky Mountains at 8,236-feet, our vacation cabins are beautifully surrounded by mountain peaks ranging 11,000 feet to 14,000 feet and secluded within a 690 acre nature preserve.
We feature 10 mountain cabin rentals, all fully equipped, and ranging in size from two to four bedrooms. Most of our mountain cabins are located along a beautiful, trout-filled mountain stream and spaced to afford maximum privacy and seclusion. Though it is only 20 miles from Boulder, Arapaho Ranch is uniquely secluded and surrounded by aspen and big pine trees.

Services
There are always plenty of activities in and around the Arapaho Ranch Cabins. Many enjoy the peaceful walks along the stream, while others really enjoy the fly and spin cast fishing. We even have a favorite fishing guide who knows our private access mountain stream very well. One of the more popular activities outside of the ranch is hiking on one of the dozens of trails within minutes of the ranch.
The Arapaho Ranch has 10 cabins located one-half mile inside the gate and away from the highway. Most are along our beautiful mountain stream; and others are close by with a panoramic view and surrounded by big pine and aspen trees. Each cabin is spaced to afford maximum privacy and seclusion. Cabins have large roofed porches or decks and rustic charm.
Running through the Arapaho Ranch is a really a beautiful and private mountain stream. The crystal clear glacial stream is neither too large or too small for pleasant fishing, with long stretches of riffles and many quiet and deep pools. Our guest always find lots of brookies and rainbow trout during the entire season.

We have been coming to Arapaho Ranch every summer since 1984. It is like our second home for three weeks. We love the quiet beauty, the humming birds outside our window and the raccoons that visit feeders and deck for snacks. We have caught glimpses of deer and moose near our cabin. Middle Boulder Creek, just a few feet from our cabin door, sings us to sleep every night.

Amazing hosts, beautiful creek that runs along one edge and a hill on the other side of the property with incredible views of mountains between Eldora and Nederland, CO. 10 or cabins from 2 to 4 bed rooms. A community center with pool, ping pong and an outside play area. Special treat every Monday night in the summer there is a campfire with an enthusiastic singalong that both has talented singers and a welcoming attitude to all.

Arapaho Ranch is easily one of my favorite places in the world. It's a relaxing atmosphere that is also in a great location if you love to be active on vacation. It's a few miles away Nederland which has great restaurants, shopping, and a grocery store for all of your staples. A short drive in any direction has you at various trailheads. Plenty of opportunities to hike to lakes, glaciers, 13'ers and the continental divide. The ranch itself is peaceful, beautiful, and feels as though you're miles away from the outside world. My wife and I spent a week in the beginning of October 2016 and are still trying to recover from deepest relaxation we have had in years. Kayla and Maryanne are genuine and authentic hosts and they seem to know just what you need. The cabin was perfect, the stream calming, and the whole environment got in our soul so much that we must and will return. Thank you.

I have been spending my summer vacation at the Arapaho Ranch for the last 15 years. I am always amazed by its surrounding beauty and feeling of seclusion.
The cabins are rustic, but comfortable. The sounds of the mountain stream outside the cabin window is always peaceful and soothing. Though you feel like your are a 1000 miles away and secluded in the mountains, you are only five miles from Nederland with it's fun shops and unique restaurants, and 30 minutes away from Boulder.
I have tried other cabin rentals in Estes Park and along the Gunnison River, but none have compared to the Arapaho Ranch
