We had an amazing time at Colorado Cottages for the new year!! Mark and his team were fantastic. Super personable and helpful without ever being too involved - very much that family run business feel. My boyfriend and I stayed in Beaver Hut with our 60lb dog and we had more than enough room. Beaver hut had plenty of space heaters and fans, but the main furnace was definitely good enough to keep the place warm for the new year. A great value and a very authentic Colorado mountain town feel. Already planning our next trip back!

I just spent the last two nights at Colorado Cottages. I am a return guest and have stayed in several of the cabins over the past 10 years. I have always been completely happy with the cabins, the location and the cleanliness of my cabin. Mark and his staff have made sure my stay was memorable and enjoyable. I hope I have many more visits to Estes Park ahead of me and I'll be sure to choose Colorado Cottages as my first option. Thanks, Mark!

We recently stayed in the Iris cottage. The little cottage was big enough for 2 of us and everything was as we remembered when we stayed there 2 years ago. The area where the cottages are is very close to everything. A mile from the Beaver Meadows Entrance 4 miles from the Fall River Entrance and about 2 miles to the center of Estes Park.
The only thing that I would recommend would for the owners to replace the doors on the fireplace in the Iris cottage as it is missing one of the glass panels. But, we still used the fireplace every night and did not have any issues with ash, smoke or cinders

We stayed here during a recent visit to Estes Park and RMNP. The location is very convenient to downtown and a park entrance. We stayed in the Hummingbird Cottage, and it was quite clean and adequate for our needs.
It’s a pretty small cottage, and although the description indicates that the sofa folds out into a double sleeper “for children only,” it’s more or less the size of a twin mattress. Our 4 and 6 year olds slept on it together, but older kids may require more space.
The bathroom is functional but very small - no room to spread out cosmetics and such. Overall the cabin is best

Nice area. The cabins are cozy and furnished with the basics, coffee pot, microwave, utensils. There is also a small heating range, but I don't think you'll be cooking anything on it. See picture.
The community gas grills are more suited for cooking meals. Some of the cabins have an outside gas grill but not all do.
The cabins are located in a quiet area, but a well trafficked road runs alongside the property. I'd read that in other reviews, however, it really wasn't an issue, because we were gone during the day. Later in the afternoon, early evening the traffic drops off considerably.

Kitchen well equipped, could not make the TV change channels so didn’t use it. Nice mattress topper for comfy sleep. Old time country feel inside. I stayed in "1 Iris" only one car space available. Restaurant right across the street and wine shop 1 min down the road.

Clean. Cozy. Cute. Friendly staff, but not intrusively so. The location is a bit busy traffic-wise (kind of close to the highway), but it still felt pretty private. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Such an amazing little place!! My boyfriend and I stayed in the beaver hut which so so great! Sad we found it on our last day in Colorado, but we are definitely coming back! If you are trying to find a place to disconnect from your busy life, this is it!! Mark was so welcoming. He really made us feel like family when we stayed there. Thanks again Mark for such a wonderful experience!
