O.T.R.A. Roadside Services, Inc. is a family owned business that was an American Dream that became a reality in May of 2013. After many years of working as a diesel mechanic, James had become one of the best mechanics in his industry and realized he would no longer work for someone else.
With an extensive background in the mechanics field, James was always intrigued as a young boy when it came to mechanical devices and he started rebuilding a 1966 El Camino at the age of 16.He owes a lot of his knowledge to his mentor and father, James A. Spires Sr. who had been a mechanic by trade most of his life.

I took my motorcoach in for a tire repair. The inside dual on the rear was leaking air slowly. The technicians were very helpful and truthful about the problems. It turned out that the inside dual was leaking at the bead and the hose from the tire pressure sensor to the schrader air valve had a leak at the crimped end of the hose. They did try very hard to find a replacement hose but were unable to in a timely manner. So at their suggestion he placed the tire sensor on the Schrader valve itself at least the tire is monitored this way. And reinstalled the wheel and tire assembly. I greatly appreciate

Unknowledgeable service techs. They charge mechanic repair prices only to put a band-aid on the problem and send you on your way. They don't stand behind their service and only give excuses when something wasn't repaired properly. I wouldn't ever use them again, i would rather pay to get my truck towed to a real mechanic shop.

The first time I called I was having a clutch issues that was almost completely gone. They answered the call over the weekend and I was able to bring it in on Monday as I was still on the road and headed in. I was given a very fair price and the work was performed the same day. I then added more things that I was going to need to be done and they completed all of those items the next day. The service was fantastic, I've had zero issues with what they worked on and this truck is a team truck that runs 7000 miles a week. I highly recommend OTRA and I will only give a review for Companies that I personally

Poor work...had side panels on refeer unit n wheel hub put on and 8 lugs were never tightened up and curb side panel on unit blew open while driving down the road and cracked the panel.
But when I called and told them about it they started saying they did tighten lugs..funny how 8 lugs came loose at one time..1 lug was almost off the stud.
As far as the unit they said they told me they wasn't able to secure it cause bolt wouldn't tighten. Don't know why it couldn't be secured..there was a bracket right there and a smaller bolt though the bracket with a nut would have worked just fine. When I

Took my 2005 freightliner in for a bumper repair and some minor stuff. they pointed out some major items that really needed attention that I didn't see. They were very respectful and willing to give me good estimates for the repairs needed. They were fast and knowledgeable in the work preformed. Also the cost for their work is reasonable.
