Hello, I am Susana Ferrer, creator of "Sussy's Cakes". From a young age I had always been in love with Art. I was brought up in a Peruvian Family dedicated to the Culinary Art. This has always directed my works and with dedication and patience I discovered my great passion, the Sugar Art. Little by little I worked to improve myself through the help of many artists.
The service is done and accomplished by me from the election of the designs to flavors and supports. In addition, I advise my clients and help them make the best decision. I constantly participate in seminars and advanced training courses. One of the most memorable courses I participated in is the decoration of cakes and cupcakes in fondant with flowers in edible gumpaste with also model figures.

Sussy's cakes are incredibly delicious. We chose the coconut cake with dulce de leche and guava. The cake was moist and the perfect amount of sweet. The flavors balance out perfectly. Can't wait to try another flavor!
In terms of look the cake was perfection. Sussy made a recommendation for the look of the cake and in person it looked exactly like in the picture she had suggested. We were very pleased.

Sussy made an amazing cake for my mom's 80th birthday - and squeezed it in with only a fews days' notice. She made the perfect cake AND delivered it, AT the appointed time, allowing me to orchestrate a family Zoom call with my siblings and many of her grandkids! It was the closest we could get to being there with her (during this crazy COVID time). She was SO touched and truly impressed by the "fancy" ;-) cake. Sussy wanted to decorate the top further with fresh flowers, but I asked her to refrain, due to my mom's extensive allergies. She customized it perfectly!

I found Sussy while doing researching for wedding cake makers precovid. I've ordered three different cakes for some small/intimate occasions in the past year. I ordered cake for my daughter's 1st bday. It looked excellent and every little detail was nicely done. It looked so good that we didn't feel like cutting it. Lol. It tasted very fresh and delicious. Everyone who tasted couldn't stop asking for more. Highly recommend this place as Sussy is very diligent, creative and down to earth. I have never seen a cake as nicely done ever before. Sussy's cake was incredible! We had a dark chocolate cake with white chocolate filling, with fresh roses on top. Cake was a huge hit with all of our guests! Two friends liked the cake so much, they took a card for future orders. Sussy was responsive to text, pickup was easy, and we look forward to working with her again!

I contacted Sussy's Cakes and found communication (via text mostly) very easy. I sent a few photos of cake designs I liked and asked about flavor options, which were all interesting sounding. We went with coconut cake with dulce de leche and pomegranate buttercream fillings. Given that our baby shower was 100% virtual, the cake really made a huge difference! We set it up so everyone could enjoy seeing it during our Zoom celebration. After enjoying the cake, we dropped slices off outside our neighbors' homes, since it was so delicious! The best cake I've ever eaten in my entire life! We had her bake our wedding cake and sent her one picture. She knocked it out of the park! The value significantly outweighed the cost. Price was very reasonable for the exceptionally high quality cake. We ordered chocolate cake with Bavarian cream/vanilla butter cream. Outstanding! I will only order cakes from her.

Sussy's cake was so amazing. There is no word I could use to describe it. I planned a gender reveal party for my sister and I only knew the baby gender a week before the party. Having a birthday during a pandemic is not a lot of fun when you are turning 12!! But thanks to Sussy's cakes, my son had a great day. The cake was amazing and literally melted in your mouth. Let me start by saying I waited several minutes after knocking for someone to open the door and yes I arrived exactly at my specified time. The aroma that greeted me was something burning. The order one dozen pretzels one dozen Oreo and what I will only refer to as a mistake is the dozen cake pops the cake batter was barely cooked the design were falling off prior to reaching my destination 32 minutes away. Needless to say the packing was unprofessional and flimsy at best. I will not be a repeat customer.

We got Sussy to make our wedding cake--a lovely simple, white cake with white roses. And we were so impressed! Everyone loved the design and the best part was that it tasted as good as it looked! I've eaten quite a few wedding cakes and they always taste horrible. But Sussy's Cakes are DELICIOUS! We did a chocolate cake with salted caramel filling for the first tier and lemon cake with guava filling for the second tier. I could not believe how beautifully the flavors came through.
