Formerly Lady A's Cheesecakes & Mocha Girl Cakes & Things, it has always been our goal to provide the best quality in desserts and give our personal touch by incorporating flavors from our southern roots and Jamaican heritage. Alicia's journey started from learning basic cooking skills from her paternal grandmother, who would bake family favorites every week just to put a smile on their faces.
Her grandmother was the first one to nurture her love for baking by sending her cookbooks to help her develop baking skills. This lead to Alicia working for her former high school teacher in catering services as a teenager. Alicia continued her studies by enrolling in cooking school.

Our new selection is perfect for one or few! Serves 4-6 people and can be created in almost any design! Perfect for a mini unicorn cake or small doll cake. Let your imagination run wild! Prices are based on desserts with minimal designs. Please note that for cupcakes the minimum order size is 1 dozen.

What a great experience! I wanted to surprise my husband with a birthday Cake while traveling to Herndon for the holidays with his family, and Alicia DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The cake could not have been more PERFECT AND DELICIOUS!!! Alicia was so gracious to squeeze in my order and I couldn't have been more thrilled with our cake as a result. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a custom cake

I still CRAVE the cupcakes Elevation Cakes made for our 2021 wedding! They were so understanding of our multiple changed dates (due to COVID) and rolled with the punches with us. We had the salted caramel and triple berry cupcakes at our wedding, and every guest was obsessed and wanted contact information for Elevation. They delivered the cupcakes to our venue and were extremely affordable, even though we would have been willing to pay anything to have these delicious treats at the wedding. I recommend Elevation Cakes to all of my bride friends!

I have ordered several cakes from this baker and every single time she goes way above and beyond ! The cake itself has been beyond delicious, fresh, moist, and I have eaten some of the best baked goods from her ever. (Sorry, Grandma lol) This baker is the best and I honestly feel that she treats all of her customers like family and she excels in excellent customer service, delicious cakes and sweets and a very caring demeanor.

Ordered for the first time for my moms 70th birthday so wanted something fancy and Alicia delivered! It was better than expected- we had the salted caramel. I had noticed the strawberry shortcake and mentioned to my husband how amazing it looked so when my birthday was a couple months later he surprised me with it and it was fantastic! Have now just placed an order for my sons birthday next month and can’t wait to try another flavor and another cake from Elevation cakes. We are spoiled now!

Found this bakery in IG & decided to book her for my daughters 8th birthday. Alicia absolutely did not disappoint!! I gave her minimum instruction & she went above my expectations!! The cake & Oreos weren't only BEAUTIFUL but also DELICIOUS!!! My daughter was absolutely in love with everything!!! We'll absolutely be using her again!!!

Wow oh wow is all I can say! We ordered a salted caramel 6in cake for my son's 16th birthday. That's all that he asked for. Boy did Alicia deliver and above and beyond our expectations. Her website has an easy order form which she promptly responded to. Pickup was easy and we couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommended for your next special occasion or sweet cravings. Can't wait to order my next cake.
