Can't give this place enough praise for fixing my car and providing stellar customer service! They kept me up to date the entire time & not once did i feel like they were taking advantage of me. If you need your car fixed in any way--this is the place! These guys are the best! Couldn't ask for better service!
Being a single female in a car shop is always intimidating, but Chris and Adam did an amazing job at explaining everything to me and making sure I felt comfortable and knew exactly what was going on. Jon and Bob Adams, a father-son duo, opened Honest-1 Auto Care Mooresville in Mooresville, NC in the fall of 2017. Jon has more than 20 years of experience in full-service auto repair while Bob has an extensive corporate background, which includes human resources and operations from the retail lumber and building materials industry.

Having a check engine light come on could be no big deal and may involve something simple, such as a loose gas cap, but it's a good idea to bring your car to Honest-1 Auto Care. We can take a look with our vehicle diagnostic tools and fix whatever issue you may have, most likely the same day. Your oxygen (O2) sensor needs replacing-without fixing it, your engine will burn more fuel than necessary, and you will lose up to 40% of fuel economy.

I've had a lot of different work done with Honest-1 Mooresville and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. They are very good at what they do and bring a professional attitude as well. One of the few auto-repair shops that you can truly feel comfortable with.

Reviewing this establishment is difficult. On one end, they are very friendly. The store is immaculate, which I appreciate. It's hard to find an auto body shop that I feel welcome in and is clean.
However, their prices are less than desirable. I was quoted $500+ for a battery. It was explained that the new cars have special batteries for displays and that they are more expensive. I am no mechanic, but $500 sounded like that was a bit much. My car is a 19 Hyundai Sonata. Plus, cars having displays in them is not that uncommon. So I went to Costco and purchased a batter for less than $170

Was traveling from Charleston SC to Dover OH. My Dodge 3500 started having a burning smell. Pulled into Honest-1 close to closing time. They immediately diagnosed the problem. They had me back on the road the next day. They were kind, efficient, and fair. Also very hospitable! I highly recommend!!!

My first time bringing my truck here for an oil change and other things and I was very impressed with the professionalism. And care and friendliness that I received. They gave me a break down of the problems with my truck and the best price to work with going forward.I left smiling. If you bring your vehicle here speak to Chris he'll help you. Thanks guys!!!! We are new to the area and needed to have an inspection done and could not be happier with the service, from check in until check out. Exceptional customer service, keeping us posted continuously on what was going on with our vehicle and communication with the technicians. To top things off we were able to enjoy a great cup of coffee and a snack in the waiting room which was clean and well stocked.
