Ralf gave me a great deal. He was friendly and appreciated my business. I bought a Jamonie Sewing machine and just tried it out and I really like it so far. He gave a 5 year free service and that sealed the deal. Servicing is costly. Didn't give a 5 b/c I wish he had other brands to choose from and he seemed not well educated on the machines. Overall, good experience and would recommend this store.

The gentleman at Ct Sew and Vac was beyond wonderful. Another company told me I needed a whole new central vac unit that would be $1700. When I went here for a second opinion, they laughed at that and told me to bring one small piece of my vac in. An hour later they called me and told me it was fixed. It was such a minor fix, they didn’t even want to charge me. They are a throw back mom and pop business (and I mean that in the most complementary way possible)that really do what’s right. I’d give them 10 stars if possible.

Warren the owner is completely trustworthy and salesman with true heart. I bought my Janome sewing machine and a used serger from him. He has serviced my machines (for free as part of the sales offer/deal). It's far ride to get to him but very worth it. I discovered CT Sew & Vac from my sewing teacher who highly recommended him. As long as he is open, I will never go anywhere else. Great service.

The owner, Warren, is veeeeeery helpful & knows his products inside and out. He is also very patient and willing to explain features and to compare models with you. I bought a sewing machine from him after only 3-4 sewing classes. I believe he found the least expensive, quality (Janome) machine for my sewing interests and it comes with 3 or 5 years FREE servicing (I can't remember which - will check my receipt where I kept notes later). I can't more highly recommend this shop! I travel almost an hour to get to him (one way) & wouldn't go anywhere else. My sewing instructor recommended him to me

Can't believe I almost bought a new canister vacuum!
I purchased a canister vacuum from Sears a few years ago and, like most people, I returned there hoping they would be able to diagnose a "power" issue I was having. They essentially recommended I cut my losses and just buy a new unit (of course!). Feeling desperate, I googled Waterbury vacuum repair and made my way here.
The gentleman was prompt, optimistic and reassuring - night and day compared to Sears. Also, unlike Sears, there was no diagnostic fee and I was told they'll let me know within about an hour what, if anything
