To honor the philosophies inherent in our history by providing compassionate care in "real" homes while envisioning a world in which high quality long-term residential and short term post-acute care is available in every community to every person. We provide superior quality health care and residences for seniors and those living with disabling conditions.

We meet the unmet needs of our populations by continuously implementing ground-breaking practices, models and solutions.
Services
Chelsea Jewish Lifecare's skilled nursing facilities located in Peabody, MA & Chelsea, MA provide compassionate transitional medical care to all who come through our doors. Any skilled nursing facility should provide round-the-clock care to patients and residents undergoing medical rehabilitation or transitional care.
The Leonard Florence Center for Living (LFCL) is unlike any other skilled nursing facility. With thirty rooms devoted to individuals diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and MS (multiple sclerosis), this award-winning specialized residence changes the way people are living with these diseases.
All three Chelsea Jewish Lifecare skilled nursing facilities have received a Five-Star Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This designation reflects the highest possible rating allotted to a skilled nursing facility. We are proud that our long-term care residences are among the top nursing homes not only in Massachusetts, but throughout the country.
Making the decision to place a family member in a memory support residence is one of the hardest decisions of all. But it is often the best option for both the individual and the family. At the Chelsea Jewish Lifecare you have a variety of living options when it comes to memory support and Alzheimer's care.
Individualized treatments, services and care plans are the main focus at the Chelsea Jewish Lifecare. Our overall goal is to help each resident regain an optimal level of independence. You have three unique, high-quality choices in rehab residences: the Leonard Florence Center for Living, the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home and Kaplan Skilled Nursing.

The staff treated my mother as if she was their mother. She never had an open area on her back side, never lost any weight and never had

My beloved Mother-in-Law (and I mean that sincerely) arrived about 3 months ago and is staying at the Florence/Chafetz Home for Specialized Care (CJF, Chelsea) now. The buildings are very clean. The food is good. Her space/room is so very comforting. The staff (from CNA's to Administrators) are very knowledgeable, caring and observant. The activities offered allow for everybody to be engaged! My beloved Mother-in-Law, like many others there, are very appreciative of the timely and kind help of the "everyday" staff, enjoy the many activities (especially the sing-a-longs - specialized to their age
