In Her Shoes, Inc., non-profit organization founded in 2010, is dedicated to empowering at-risk women returning to their communities that have been challenged by substance abuse and/or incarceration issues. This program offers training in life skills, work practices, recovery, budgeting, nutrition, tutoring, goal planning, and trauma-informed care services.
In Her Shoes, Inc also provides various evidence-based support and interventions for individuals that enable the women we serve to visualize and choose successful pathways for their lives. As a result, participants have surpassed the stigma associated with life after incarceration, becoming gainfully employed, self-sufficient, and independent.

In Her Shoes, Inc. is a non-profit Program exclusively for Women. We are dedicated to empowering at-risk women returning to their communities that have been challenged by substance abuse and/or incarceration issues. This program offers training in life skills, work practices, recovery, budgeting, nutrition, tutoring, goal planning, and trauma-informed care services.
It became clear there was a need for a safe Residential Aftercare housing at minimal cost to promote an on-going free faith-based sessions and support in Kent County/Sussex County, Delaware. Our goal is to raise $500,000 to help us purchased a mortgage-free home and property. We have begun fundraising by accepting donations.
