Olympia House saved my life twice. I’m sad to see the bad reviews because that was so far from my experience. The staff is loving and care a great deal. Most are addicts so truly understand. I continue to work with the therapist I had when I was there over a year ago. No rehab is a magic wand. You have to want it and be dedicated to make it work. I still visit there often because it became my safe space. Although sometimes it was incredibly difficult and made me want to leave at some points, I was able to dig through my traumatic past which has led me to still be sober today.

Sadly, like many rehabs in today's world, this facility is driven by money and not the work of treating addiction. The mental health crisis is on full display here. There are some competent and helpful staff and some that are sadly lacking. There should be more done to ensure these facilities are taking appropriate action and treating people fairly. It seems they are able to pick and choose by whim who they will help and not help.

The staff, the love, kindness, and also the pushing me to open up (which is required by us scared, isolated, lonely resentful addicts) absolutely changed my life. l have been to other rehabs. This is beyond my ability to state the way they(OH) teach, love, center, ground and push you to get through the first step all us addicts go through is denial. They look at the WHOLE person and individualize a plan since each of is is very different. We all have for different reasons for use. They offer different modalities of access to support groups. I can't speak well enough about Olympia House- I sincerely have a new lease on life thanks to the orchestrated efforts of their stellar staff. I stayed for over 30 days- and although it was absolutely the most emotionally taxing thing I have ever had to do- it was the most transformative.
Unlike most rehab centers which are 12-step based- OH is evidence-based and teaches you emotional tolerance, relapse prevention, and a TON of processing groups and individual therapy to get down to WHY you drank. Not just praying to God for another day sober (which works too for some people).

My daughter has been there for almost three weeks and the change is nothing less than amazing. Staff are warm. caring, kind, knowledgeable, smart, caring amazing, did I say caring?, What they have done for my daughter in three weeks, is life-changing. I am excited to see what 60 days or if lucky enough to be there 90 days will do not only for her life but for her unborn healthy baby girl and our entire family. I cannot say enough about Olympia House. Except, I only wish I had heard about them sooner. Oh and I hear the food is amazing too.

Peaceful setting for those who are ready to work toward introspective and meaningful recovery education. Top notch clinical staff and counseling, if you advocate for what you need they happily accommodate. Olympia House has changed my life and has provided the tools I need to stay in recovery. I have the education now it is up to use these skills.

Olympia House is absolutely amazing and one of a kind. I did my homework and checked out several other options, but i did not find any other facility that offers the same level of treatment. At OH you are assigned a drug or alcohol counselor AND a licensed therapist, and they help you determine any underlying diagnosis you may need, such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, Etc. You cant recover from addiction without the proper medical diagnosis and then determining and addressing the underlying causes behind your use. And most important of all, OH helps you re-learn routine and encourages you to connect

I want to Olympia house at a very difficult time in my life. I had been a first responder for 25 Years And I forgotten to learn to take care of myself. The Professional staff including therapists and drug and alcohol counselors gave me the skills I needed to take care of myself and to make better decisions in my life. As a dual diagnosis facility it treats addiction but also digs into the root causes of it with each individual person. I've been clean and sober for a year-and a 1/2 now and I still maintain my relationships with the people from Olympia house and there some of the healthiest friendships

I would recommend Olympia house to anybody who needs their services. They have such a good program and strong caring staff that know what they're doing. I would not be here the way that I am now clean. If it wasn't for Olympia house I would not be enjoying my life as I do, CLEAN. They gave me the strength,the courage and the hope that my life needed so I could be happy.

Olympia House helped me save my life. I am forever grateful. They have absolutely amazing, caring, dedicated, compassionate staff. The food is amazing! Amazing program! Extremely intimate and personal, with case by case treatment designed specifically for the individual. You will not get care and love like this at any other program. The staff goes above and beyond, extending themselves in ways that demonstrate time and time again that they have chosen this line of work to save lives. I owe my life to this program.
