Dr. David E. Dorsner, MD does not run a "doc in a box". He takes time with each patient and listens to their needs & problems. He has an amazing diagnostic record. We have a very large local base of patients that have been coming here to see Dr. Dorsner since we opened our doors in 1998. We also can handle many corporate accounts with drug screenings and worker's compensation injuries.

Went in and doctor said my blood pressure was low but she was very doubtful, I asked her what it was supposed to be? She did not even know, she said well it could be low due to your age, height and weight but she never actually gave me an exact answer which obviously didn’t make me feel good. After I was done being checked for what I mainly came for, I told her I was feeling pain somewhere else and her response was “Well let’s fix this first and then you can come in again and we can check that.” I do not think a doctor should ever say that, the doctor should be able to check all your concerns

On June 19 I called Cross Island Medical Center for an employee Jessica due to her being the emergency contact when I have an anxiety and panic attacks in public due to the fatal death of my husband and was hung up on by the receptionist Natalia I am an Active Duty Soldier who currently works at the Pentagon but I am from Beautiful Beaufort. Mental health is real and it is disturbing and disgusting that a medical center receptionist would just hang the phone up on a total stranger due to who they asked to speak with. This is heartbreaking being that I have heard so many great things about this

Dr. Dorsner and the Staff at the Cross Island Medical Center are the BEST!
I can honestly say that Dr. Dorsner and the Staff at the Cross Island Medical Center saved my life.... I had the most horrible pneumonia and felt like I was going to die. They put me on a nebulizer machine, and antibiotics, cough syrup, and the list goes on. I ended up having to get shots, and be on steroids. It took many visits to monitor my progress, and they routinely followed up with phone calls to check up on me, which I have never had a Doctor here on Hilton Head EVER do!

The doctor and staff were all very friendly. The doctor was very knowledgeable-I'd gotten a bad infection in my ear while on vacation! When I had an allergic reaction to the meds, they saw me quickly the next day to help me out and didn't even charge me for that visit--such a relief to find people that actually care about your health!!!

I cannot say enough about the service i fortunately received at Cross Island Medical on friday afternoon. the staff was professional and very attentive to all my injuries. I walked out saving hundreds of dollars on x-rays and the information i needed to continue healing. thank you to all the staff!!! : )))
